Disguised as a Man, She Has Eight Men Fighting Over Her - Chapter 53
Chapter 53
His burning words heated Lin Cheng’s ears. She kicked him.
“Xie Zhi, shut up.”
He trapped her restless leg between his knees, brushed her with the tip of his nose, and drawled with intimate hooks in his voice.
“You’re leaving…”
“You truly won’t miss me?”
Unable to free her leg, Lin Cheng stubbornly answered, “I won’t.”
Xie Zhi chuckled. “Don’t believe you.”
His effortless response left her powerless.
He lowered his head, hot breath circling her neck, teeth closing lightly.
“Don’t…” She pushed his shoulders, voice trembling. “I really have to leave later. Someone might see.”
“Let them.”
“I wish everyone could see.”
Still, he did not bite hard, only rubbed his lips over her skin.
“Xie Zhi… stop… it tickles…”
Trapped between his hot chest and the cold door, Lin Cheng’s legs softened until she had to lean against him.
“Baby…”
He lifted his head and asked yet again, dark currents surging in his eyes.
“Will you miss me?”
“…Mm.”
Lin Cheng had learned that resistance was useless.
Satisfied, Xie Zhi lifted her by the hips, carried her to the bed, and seated her face-to-face on his lap.
He slowly opened the top two buttons of his shirt, exposing elegant collarbones, and tilted his neck back.
“Baby.”
“Leave a mark so I remember to miss you.”
Her ears went scarlet. She raised herself off his lap at once.
His eyes narrowed at the retreating softness.
“Then should I leave one on you?”
After a long silence, Lin Cheng bit her lip.
“Beg me.”
The air stilled.
Then Xie Zhi nearly laughed. The little mouse had shown her claws again. Adorable.
He leaned back lazily.
“I’m begging you.”
Then he lowered his magnetic, husky voice further.
“Sister, please.”
“Just one.”
Lin Cheng: “…”
His shamelessness was unfair, especially with that voice and face.
Her heart stopped, then raced.
She had tried to retaliate, only to be seduced instead.
Xie Zhi waited with his head tilted back, the exposed skin devastating in the sunlight.
Lin Cheng leaned forward in confusion and bit his collarbone—not hard, more like venting.
A suppressed groan escaped him, his fingers whitening against the sheet.
Seeing the shallow tooth mark, Lin Cheng sprang away.
“Th-there! Happy?”
He touched it.
“Enough.”
Eyes closed, he breathed deeply.
“Enough to think about for a long time.”
Eventually he rose and ruffled her hair.
“Message me when you arrive.”
Lin Cheng nodded chaotically.
“Pack. I’ll take you.”
—
At City Z Airport, Lin Cheng discovered her boarding pass was for City N. Ji Hanzhou called at once.
“You’ll fly to City N. Tomorrow morning you have an offline brand event. Staff will meet you at Exit A and take you to the hotel.”
“Understood, Brother Hanzhou.”
Xie Zhi handed her backpack over, displeasure flickering through him.
Despite hats and masks, their striking presence drew attention.
“Is that Wild7’s Xie Zhi?”
“The other one looks like Lin Chen! Are they that close?”
Phones rose around them. Xie Zhi had to end the farewell early.
He regretted it.
He should have kissed her several more times.
Suppressing the urge to pull her back, he rubbed her head firmly through the hat.
“Message me when you land.”
“Oh.”
Without even saying goodbye, Lin Cheng took the bag and ran into security.
Xie Zhi watched her vanish, tongue pressing his cheek.
Even more regret.
He should have left a mark on her too.
—
Fine rain veiled the humid summer night in City N.
At Exit A, Lin Cheng spotted a tall figure beside a black Cayenne.
“Brother Qingrang?”
Shen Qingrang raised his eyes, smiled, and approached beneath a black umbrella. He took her suitcase and tilted most of the canopy toward her, allowing rain to darken his burgundy shirt against his muscular shoulder.
“Why did you come?”
“I was free. Smooth trip?”
“Very. But City N is so humid.”
He opened the passenger door and sheltered her carefully.
“You’ll adjust. Let’s return to the hotel.”
He sat behind the wheel but did not start immediately.
“How did your first acting job feel?”
“Interesting…”
Lin Cheng drifted, remembering Xie Zhi’s face and those scorching breaths in hidden corners.
“Little Chen?”
Shen Qingrang suddenly leaned over, blocking the light through the windshield.
