Chapter 9
I said leisurely, “Everything was snatched from my hands by you. How could it be that I did it on purpose?”
Ming Qin stomped her foot. “Cousin, she’s bullying me!”
Ming Rao cast me a disapproving glance. “Miss Song, Ming Qin is just childish. You shouldn’t stoop to her level.”
“If I remember correctly, Ming Qin and I are about the same age.”
Ming Rao frowned. A man came up from behind and wrapped his arm around her waist. “What’s going on?”
One unwelcome face after another kept appearing.
Shen Yuxiu stood at a distance, looking at me with cold, detached eyes, as if I were a stranger. “Who upset you?”
Ming Qin rattled off a long, exaggerated story, adding fuel to the fire. Then she lifted her chin and shot me a contemptuous glare.

After hanging up, she barely had time to say much before hurriedly bidding farewell and leaving.
I sat on the cold chair, but my face burned hot.

Yet, an uncontrollable wave of grievance and sadness surged in my heart.
Feeling utterly humiliated, I grabbed my bag and left without noticing that Shen Yuxiu had been watching my retreating figure the entire time.
