On my way out, I received a call from Mother Chen.
She was as gentle as ever:
“Shuyi, when will you come over for a meal? It’s been so long since you last visited.”
I replied calmly:
“Auntie, Chen Jianjin and I have broken up. I won’t be coming for dinner.”
Mother Chen asked anxiously:
“What happened?”
After hanging up, I remembered how I had posted so many pretentious Moments just to get Chen Jianjin’s attention.
I set my Moments to be visible for only three days, and also blocked him from seeing them.
