Three Years of Silent Chase - Chapter 4
That night.
Under the candlelight, Kingsley’s cheeks were flushed from the wine, and when he turned to look at me, his eyes were filled with a gentle glow.
“Honey, congratulations on graduating.”
I walked over, straddled his lap, and kissed him fiercely until his eyes were dazed.
Inside, I felt a thousand times reluctant.
The pain was like a knife cutting through me.
Yet, I still smiled and pinched his cheek.
“Kingsley, let’s play a game.”
His large, warm hands gripped my waist, and he tilted his head back to capture my lips.
His voice was muffled, “What… what game?”
“Aren’t we already playing?”
My body grew weak with the familiar invasion, and soft kisses gradually trailed downward.
It was so hot, like a fish about to dehydrate.
As his shirt was pulled open, revealing his chest muscles, I leaned down to bite them, and he trembled lightly, tears at the corners of his eyes, begging for mercy.
“Honey, I like this game.”
I licked his Adam’s apple bit by bit.
“The next game… you’ll like it too.”
That night was unprecedentedly intense.
I used all my strength to please him.
So much so that when I opened my eyes again, it was already the evening of the next day.
Kingsley approached with a glass of warm water and kissed me, “Honey, you were amazing last night.”
My dry throat couldn’t utter a word; only after moistening it with some water did I manage to speak.
I brought up the game again.
“Haven’t you always envied your brother for being chased by his wife?”
“How about we pretend to break up and block each other, and then I’ll be the one chasing you like a little puppy? Let’s treat it as falling in love all over again.”
“Remember… be a bit aloof with me!”
When he heard about pretending to break up, Kingsley’s face soured a bit.
But when he heard I wanted to chase him and start a new romance, he immediately nodded with a mix of hidden delight and feigned reluctance.
His handsome face turned serious as he looked at me, trying to act aloof, “Alright then.”
“If you insist on chasing me, I guess I have no choice.”
