The Autistic Puppy: A Gentle Soul - Chapter 9
Yang Chen’s face was grim.
Behind him were my parents.
Qin Yu stood not far away.
Yang Chen’s voice was so low that only the two of us could hear, “Zhou Ruo, your affection is really cheap, can you give it to another person so quickly?”
I looked at him coldly.
“What else? Hang myself on your rotten tree?”
My parents have always known that I liked Yang Chen.
Yang Chen turned slightly and smiled at my mom.
“Auntie, it’s that boy, he’s seducing Zhou Ruo into an early romance.”
I widened my eyes.
My mom looked at Qin Yu, who was pale but still bravely walking over, with a slight frown.
“Early romance? Isn’t Ruo already an adult? What, is that child not an adult?”
I smiled sweetly and immediately replied, “He’s two months older than me!”
My mom breathed a sigh of relief, looking satisfied at Qin Yu standing in front of her.
“Then it’s fine, isn’t it?”
Yang Chen was incredulous, “Auntie!”
I quietly watched him break down.
I forgot to tell him, the reason my mom liked him was because she’s a face judge.
In front of Qin Yu, Yang Chen was utterly defeated.
Qin Yu stood behind me, politely greeting my parents.
“Hello, Uncle. Hello, Auntie.”
My mom was extremely satisfied, winking at me.
“So handsome?”
Yang Chen clenched his fists, unwilling to let his rationality burn away at this moment.
“Auntie! He’s sick! He has a mental illness, he’s an autism patient, are you sure you want Ruo to be with him?”
The air was completely silent at this moment.
Qin Yu’s face turned pale in an instant.
I was filled with anger, and without a second thought, I stepped forward and slapped Yang Chen across the face!
I had wanted to do this for a long time, ever since he first called me shameless, ever since he first said Qin Yu was sick!
“I think the sick one is you! Get lost!”
Yang Chen raised his head, his cheek swollen and red, but no one spoke up for him.
He gritted his teeth in anger and turned to head home.
Qin Yu’s face was pale, and he looked at me somewhat helplessly.
I stood in front of him, ready to defend him.
But he stepped forward and bowed deeply.
Qin Yu’s voice trembled, even stuttering a bit.
“Uncle, Auntie. My illness… is almost cured.”
“My kind of illness doesn’t harm people. I really like Ruo… I will get better, I will be good to her.”
My eyes felt hot.
My parents didn’t say anything more.
Qin Yu walked away with a pale face.
I gently patted his shoulder and took the opportunity to kiss him again, satisfied to see Qin Yu’s face turn as red as a boiled shrimp.
“It’s okay, I’ll handle things with my parents.”
I turned back inside.
My mom sat in the living room rubbing her temples, “Ruo, it’s not that your dad and I disagree. You would be much happier dating a normal person than someone with psychological issues…”
She tried to speak as gently as possible.
I knew mom was also thinking of my well-being.
I nodded, “I like him, mom. When he first met me, he could barely speak.”
“You see, he talked so much to you today, I believe he will get better.”
My mom nodded, ultimately saying nothing more.
