Chapter 7
Mu Zejia was already unsteady from drinking too much, and with that blow, he was knocked straight to the ground.
“Didn’t I warn you to stop bothering her?”
Chen Sui’s voice was utterly cold, yet eerily calm.
Mu Zejia lay on the floor, shouting in pain but still managing to sneer, as if deliberately provoking Chen Sui’s limits.
He squinted his eyes and scoffed, “Your girlfriend? When I was kissing her, you didn’t even know where you were.”
Chen Sui didn’t reply. He grabbed an empty beer bottle nearby and smashed it straight down on Mu Zejia’s head.
“Today, I’m going to help you remember this.”
He tossed out the words in a flat tone, then picked up the chair again and walked toward Mu Zejia.
The calmer Chen Sui appeared on the surface, the less rational he actually was.
“Chen Sui…” I watched blood seep from Mu Zejia’s head, feeling a bit terrified.
He seemed not to hear, his steps never faltering.
It wasn’t until I shouted his name again that his roommate finally snapped out of it and hurried to restrain Chen Sui.
The scene was utter chaos, and no one noticed that everything was being recorded by someone hiding in the shadows.
