Demonic King of the Metropolis - Chapter 5 - That Woman Is Mine
The deputy director of the police station, and a city-level one at that, certainly carried some weight. He wielded considerable power, and being someone who often protected his own, Zhu Nan’s father frequently used his authority to cover up his son’s misdeeds.
This very indulgence had fostered Zhu Nan’s disdainful and increasingly audacious behavior.
After saying this, Zhu Nan gave a cold laugh and slowly walked towards Chen Shuran.
“What… what are you doing? Don’t come any closer,” Chen Shuran pleaded as she saw Zhu Nan approaching. Panicked, she stepped back, finally realizing the gravity of her situation.
“What does the young master want to do? Heh, the young master wants you!” Zhu Nan sneered maliciously, his eyes scanning Chen Shuran’s figure, the flames of desire burning brighter within him.
With that, he quickened his pace, eager to claim the blossoming woman before him.
The young men around them burst into laughter at Zhu Nan’s obscene remark.
“Smack…” Chen Shuran forcefully slapped away Zhu Nan’s hand reaching towards her and shouted, “Stop it! Let me go now, and I will forgive and forget. Otherwise, you will truly regret this.”
“The word ‘regret’ isn’t in the young master’s dictionary,” Zhu Nan replied, unbothered by the slap. Instead, he flashed a sinister smile at Chen Shuran, utterly revolting.
As he spoke, he reached out for her again, this time much faster than before. Chen Shuran couldn’t react in time, and he quickly grabbed her clothes.
“Ah…”
The moment Zhu Nan touched her, Chen Shuran screamed. Raised delicately from birth, she had never been so crudely handled by a man.
Even mere proximity had never been breached with any male, and in that moment, Chen Shuran was utterly flustered.
“Crack…”
A tearing sound erupted as Chen Shuran, dressed in a camisole, had her clothing ripped open by Zhu Nan.
“Tsk tsk, such fair skin…” Zhu Nan, eyeing the exposed skin of Chen Shuran, licked his lips obscenely.
“You bastard.” Chen Shuran covered herself with her hands, her eyes misting over.
“Go keep watch outside. I’ll have my fun before it’s your turn,” Zhu Nan commanded, ignoring Chen Shuran’s clenched teeth. He waved his hand at the group of young men standing nearby.
“Alright, guys, let’s keep watch for Young Master Zhu!” The leader of the youths, energized by Zhu Nan’s command, waved his hand and they slowly retreated from the dim alley.
“Such a fiery girl, resist all you want – the more you resist, the more excited I get!” Zhu Nan rubbed his hands together and swallowed, continuing his slow advance towards Chen Shuran.
“You… you bastard.” At that moment, Chen Shuran was at a loss for words. She suddenly realized how her pride was crumbling, how helpless she felt. She regretted not listening to her father’s advice to bring a bodyguard when going out. If a bodyguard had been with her, she might not have ended up in this situation.
“Scream, why don’t you scream?” Seeing Chen Shuran’s tearful face, Zhu Nan’s expression turned ferocious.
Chen Shuran bit her lip, her bright eyes fixated on the menacing man before her, remaining silent.
“You were so stubborn and proud earlier, what happened, why aren’t you screaming now!” Zhu Nan said, reaching out his hands towards Chen Shuran.
“Don’t touch me.” She blocked his hands fiercely and pushed Zhu Nan away, stepping back two paces.
“Don’t want to? Soon you’ll be screaming not to stop, you bitch.” Zhu Nan’s patience seemed to have run out, and with that, he lunged fiercely at Chen Shuran.
Chen Shuran reacted quickly, sidestepping Zhu Nan’s charge.
Gradually, Zhu Nan cornered Chen Shuran against a wall, and as she realized there was no escape, a faint hope of survival in her heart extinguished.
“Run? Why aren’t you running now?” Zhu Nan’s menacing face broke into a disgustingly sinister smile.
Chen Shuran didn’t speak. At that moment, her tears could no longer be held back, trickling from the corners of her eyes as she slowly closed them, seemingly resigning herself to the grim reality.
“You filthy whore, I’ll show you what happens when you offend this young master.” Zhu Nan sneered menacingly, ready to pounce on Chen Shuran.
“Hey, buddy, can I join in?”
A voice, irreverent and mocking, rang out beside Zhu Nan, causing him to freeze and turn around. There stood a young man in a light blue casual outfit, a smile playing on his lips, but with an unmistakably mischievous air.
“Who are you?” Zhu Nan’s lust was momentarily suppressed. He was no fool; anyone who could appear so silently behind him and wear such a relaxed expression was definitely not to be underestimated.
“I’m just passing by…” It was Tang Jie who had appeared behind Zhu Nan. Seeing Zhu Nan about to succeed in his vile intentions, Tang Jie knew he couldn’t just stand by. “Well… to be precise, I’m just here as a bystander.” After saying this, Tang Jie looked at Chen Shuran, whose face was still marked by shock, with a teasing glint in his eyes.
Chen Shuran recognized the voice that suddenly spoke; it sounded familiar. She opened her eyes to see Tang Jie and paused, the events of the day flashing through her mind, stirring a complex mix of emotions. Wasn’t he the one her father said would protect her? She had mocked him earlier in the afternoon and thought he had left. How… could he be here?
“A bystander?” Zhu Nan was momentarily stunned, mumbling to himself before his face twisted into fury again. “Are you fucking playing me for a fool?”
“Don’t talk like that, man. I really am just passing by and saw you having so much fun, I thought I’d join in,” Tang Jie said with a slight smile, his face appearing completely harmless. He noticed Chen Shuran’s reaction to his words; her face flickered with discomfort and anger, her eyes glaring resentfully at him, yet her expression was utterly helpless.
