Demonic King of the Metropolis - Chapter 4 - Hey Miss, Smile for Me!
“My dad is the deputy director of G City police station. Would I be honored to buy you a drink?” Zhu Nan suppressed his anger, secretly planning to torment the woman once he had her.
Chen Shuran didn’t react much to his words and continued sipping her drink.
“You bitch, who the hell do you think you are?” Zhu Nan couldn’t contain his fury any longer as Chen Shuran continued to ignore him.
With a sharp crash, the beer glass in Zhu Nan’s hand shattered into pieces.
“Young Master Zhu, what happened? Why the big temper?” A group of oddly dressed young men in their early twenties wandered over, led by a young man with a scar across his face.
“Hmph!” Zhu Nan snorted at the scar-faced youth, then turned to Chen Shuran and slowly said, “I’ll give you a chance now to apologize and spend the night with me, or else…”
He didn’t finish his sentence, but the threat was clear. With the group of oddly dressed young men backing him, Zhu Nan felt much more confident.
“Get lost before I lose my temper!” Chen Shuran put down her glass, looked up at the furious Zhu Nan, and said.
“What?” Zhu Nan was dumbfounded. He had assumed that the sexy woman would be scared by the entourage and agree to his demands. Instead, she defied him completely.
“Say that again if you dare.” Zhu Nan gritted his teeth, anger flashing in his eyes, fists clenched. Being defied wasn’t something he was accustomed to.
But this woman had done just that, and Zhu Nan felt his dignity had been deeply challenged.
“I said, get, lost… Are you deaf?” Chen Shuran, it turned out, wasn’t easily bullied. Tired of Zhu Nan’s repeated harassment, the pampered young woman finally exploded.
“Young Master Zhu, what’s this chick on about?”
“You’d better apologize to Young Master Zhu, or we won’t let you off.”
“…”
The young men behind Zhu Nan voiced their loyalty with a range of jeers and flattery.
“A bunch of losers…” Chen Shuran remained unmoved, instead casting a disgusted look at Zhu Nan and the group of youths behind him.
“This girl is quite interesting.”
Sitting not far away, Tang Jie quietly watched the scene unfold without intervening. With such an entertaining spectacle, he decided to keep watching and would step in later if needed.
“Unbelievable! It seems I need to teach you a lesson, so you understand what this young master is capable of.” Zhu Nan could no longer hold back. Being called trash by someone was too much, even for him.
“Grab her!” Zhu Nan commanded, waving his hand at the youths behind him.
After speaking, Zhu Nan swung his arm fiercely and turned to walk towards the exit of Passion Bar. The waiters in the bar, used to such occurrences, didn’t intervene. Even if they wanted to, they couldn’t, especially considering that Zhu Nan was the son of the deputy director of the G City police station.
As the saying goes, birds of a feather flock together; nobody wanted to be the fool who stood out. This wasn’t the first time Zhu Nan had behaved this way.
Regarding the situation in the bar, the young men and women dancing didn’t care much once they realized it was Zhu Nan causing trouble. They simply continued with their own fun, hanging back as if it was none of their business. Chen Shuran’s friends didn’t dare to intervene.
“What do you think you’re doing? Touch me and see what happens!” Chen Shuran, seeing a few youths approaching her, stood her ground and shouted defiantly.
“Heh heh, the girl’s got spirit. Let’s see if you can keep it up later!” one of the youths said with a smirk, rubbing his hands together.
“Women who have been with Young Master Zhu usually end up being passed on to us, heh heh. I’ll show this bitch what I’m made of soon,” another youth said, his eyes gleaming lewdly at Chen Shuran.
“You…” Before she could say more, Chen Shuran was surrounded by several people. Two hoodlums each grabbed one of her arms, while another covered her mouth to keep her from making any noise.
Chen Shuran struggled frantically, but as a woman, she couldn’t match the strength of three men. Her efforts were in vain, and she was forcibly led out of Passion Bar by the three youths.
After witnessing Chen Shuran being escorted out of the bar, Tang Jie downed his beer, stood up, and a cold smile appeared on his lips. He silently followed a group of young men as they left Passion Bar.
In a dim alley behind Passion Bar, a dozen young men and the red-haired Zhu Nan were standing.
Chen Shuran was surrounded by the group, but her expression was calm and composed, showing no fear.
After glancing around, Chen Shuran said nothing. She reached into her pocket, pulled out a cellphone, and dialed a number.
But before the call went through, a hoodlum snatched it away, sneering, “Thinking of making a call? No chance!”
“Are you even men? Bullying a girl? If you have the guts, give me back my phone and let me make a call!” Chen Shuran exclaimed in panic as her phone was taken.
“Ha, you bitch, acting all high and mighty just now in front of this young master. Soon you’ll regret it!” Zhu Nan scoffed coldly, glaring at Chen Shuran.
“You scumbag, if you dare touch me, I guarantee your deputy director dad will be out of office tomorrow!” Chen Shuran finally faced Zhu Nan, glaring back fiercely and speaking through clenched teeth.
“Ha ha ha, did you hear what she said? She’s going to get my dad fired… Ha ha ha.” Upon hearing this, Zhu Nan burst into laughter, followed by the group of young men behind him, who all erupted in hearty laughter.
“Laugh all you want, let me go if you know what’s good for you, or I’ll make sure my words come true,” Chen Shuran said, visibly unsettled. She hadn’t expected Zhu Nan to be so bold as to actually threaten her.
“Hmph, I’d like to see if what you’re saying is true. Even if it is, I’m not afraid of you. My dad is the deputy director of the police station. Going against me is like going against the state,” Zhu Nan said boastfully, though not without a lack of reason.
