Summary
I am a restless maid who wants to climb into her master’s bed.
This is no revenge, and I bear no one a grudge.
I simply refuse to spend my whole life as a servant, pouring tea, fetching water, and watching other people’s moods.
The bed before me is a ladder to a different fate.
I know the thought is sordid, unfit to see the light.
But the ladder is right here.
If I do not climb it, I will never be able to stomach it.
