Demonic King of the Metropolis - Chapter 14 - Wild Racing!
The skinny man nodded and said, “Alright! Brother, just watch me.”
With that, the skinny man slammed the gas pedal to the floor, causing the black Cayenne’s tires to spin fiercely with a screeching sound.
A second later, the black Cayenne shot forward like an arrow toward the stretched Lincoln, with an overwhelming momentum.
“Whoosh…”
The black Cayenne charged like a cheetah sprinting across the plains, fearlessly rushing toward its target.
“Bang…”
As expected, before anyone could react, the black Cayenne crashed hard into the stretched Lincoln.
A loud crash echoed, startling the drivers waiting at the crosswalk for the green light.
Caught off guard by the sudden impact, both Uncle Zhao and Tang Jie were thrown forward by the car’s rapid momentum.
“What just happened!” Uncle Zhao, who had hit the steering wheel, quickly turned to look toward the back of the car.
He saw the black Cayenne with smoke billowing from its hood reversing, and being sharp-minded, he immediately realized something was wrong!
“Damn, this Lincoln is tough. Such a hard hit only slightly bent its rear. Let’s do it again!” The skinny man gripped the steering wheel, shifted gears, and the black Cayenne reversed quickly, ready to slam into the car in front once more.
“Keep hitting it! Hurry up and kill the people inside the car, then escape before the police arrive,” the scarred man sitting beside him urged the skinny man.
“Got it, brother, don’t worry. This time I’m sure I’ll rupture its gas tank.” The skinny man assured confidently and then floored the gas pedal, causing the tires to screech against the pavement.
“This is bad, Uncle Zhao, drive quickly, they want this car to explode!” Tang Jie turned to see the stance of the black Cayenne and instantly understood their plan.
Blowing up a car with everyone inside was a tactic he’d used before, but unlike the people in the black Cayenne, he’d used a rocket launcher, not another car, to strike.
Hearing this, Uncle Zhao instinctively floored the gas pedal, and the stretched Lincoln sped off, thwarting the black Cayenne’s attempt to crash into it again.
“Damn, quick reaction!” the skinny man cursed through clenched teeth, turning the steering wheel to quickly follow.
“Uncle Zhao, let me drive…” Tang Jie, sitting in the car, had an idea and said to Uncle Zhao.
“No, Tang, now is a critical time. If you want to drive, that’s fine, but after this crisis is over, I’ll let you take the wheel!” Uncle Zhao misunderstood, thinking Tang Jie was merely eager to drive.
The stretched Lincoln was indeed long and not the best choice for a high-speed pursuit. Compared to the black Cayenne, it had no advantage in speed due to its size.
“Bang…”
The black Cayenne soon caught up and rammed the Lincoln’s rear again.
“We’re out of time, Uncle Zhao, trust me, I can drive!” Tang Jie, flustered by the Cayenne’s repeated hits, quickly decided, wasting no more words.
He swiftly pulled Uncle Zhao aside, lifted him into the passenger seat, and deftly jumped into the driver’s seat.
With hands on the wheel and foot on the gas pedal, Tang Jie smirked and said, “Let me play with you!”
The skinny man saw the stretched Lincoln suddenly pause and laughed, “Here’s my chance.”
Just as he was ready to hit the Lincoln again, he noticed it surged forward as if it had been energized, increasing its speed and gaining a ten-meter lead before he could react.
“Damn it, stop standing there. Catch up with him now, or I’ll skin you alive!” the scarred man in the passenger seat snapped.
“Ah, yes, yes!” The skinny man snapped back to reality, slammed on the gas, and continued the chase.
Tang Jie maneuvered the stretched Lincoln, pushing its speed to the limit. After turning a corner, he sharply accelerated again.
“Tang, what are you doing? Driving so fast will cause us to flip!” Uncle Zhao exclaimed in shock as he watched Tang Jie treat the stretched Lincoln like a sports car.
A stretched Lincoln isn’t like a normal car; it’s meant for business use. Trying to race with it at high speeds is reckless, especially on city streets. With the increasing traffic, there’s a risk of colliding with other moving vehicles.
Particularly when turning, without at least ten years of experience, controlling this stretched vehicle is difficult.
But now, Tang Jie was driving the stretched Lincoln like a sports car, not only maxing out the speed but also drifting through turns.
Uncle Zhao had never seen such reckless driving before-skills that even top world-class racers wouldn’t attempt, especially since Tang Jie wasn’t in a professional race car but a business Lincoln limousine.
“Don’t worry, Uncle Zhao. Just sit tight and enjoy the show.” Tang Jie smiled lightly, executed a drift around another corner, and rapidly accelerated again.
Hearing this, Uncle Zhao could only shake his head with a wry smile, sighing, “Young people these days are truly crazy.”
If someone had told him before, “Today I saw a business stretched Lincoln racing and drifting,” he would have laughed it off.
But at this moment, what seemed impossible was happening right before his eyes, and he was inside the car.
Though unsure how Tang Jie was doing it, he had no time to ponder.
“Holy…!!”
“Isn’t the driver supposed to be old man Zhao? When did he become such a skilled driver, drifting with a stretched Lincoln?” The skinny man stared in disbelief at the scene before him.
“Damn it, it can’t be old man Zhao driving. From what I know, he couldn’t pull off something like this; there must be someone else in the car,” the scarred man speculated, his eyes glued to the vehicle ahead.
“Damn, I don’t believe it. Drift again, and I’ll crash right into you.” Perhaps frustrated that he couldn’t perform such tricky maneuvers himself, the skinny man glared at the stretched Lincoln and stepped on the gas, continuing the pursuit.
