Summary
My aloof roommate always carried a faint scent of incense.
On a particular day each month, it grew stronger.
Worse, somewhere along the way, I had started to like it.
Whenever he was out of the dorm, I resorted to secretly sniffing his clothes.
It felt like an addiction.
One day, unable to stand it any longer, I asked, “Your cologne smells so good. Could you send me the link?”
He gave me an odd look. “You can smell me?”
I nodded.
He moved closer, slowly, and smiled.
“Then we really are a match made in heaven.”
“Heaven’s delivered a wife right to my door. I’d be a fool not to mark him.”
