To Forgive or Not to Forgive - Chapter 10
During the day, Chen Jianjin had dark circles under his eyes, looking somewhat fatigued.
I yawned, staring at the wardrobe full of clothes, pondering how to pack them all.
Suddenly, the man spoke:
“What kind of wedding dress do you like?
“And the wedding venue.
“In a few days, go check it out with Mom.”
I smiled faintly:
“President Chen, that’s a question you should be asking Zhou Sining.”
Chen Jianjin shot me a cold, piercing glance.
“Don’t joke about her.”
I squatted down and picked up an apple that had fallen to the floor:
“I’m serious.”
He suddenly grabbed me by the waist:
“Let’s go try on wedding dresses right now.”
He forcibly dragged me away.
Sitting in the car, his expression was calm.
I turned my head to look at him:
“Chen Jianjin, you like Zhou Sining, don’t you?”
The tires screeched against the pavement with a sharp “screech,” but he sat steadily in the driver’s seat, furrowing his brows as he slowly turned to look at me.
His expression carried a hint of panic.
“Wen Shuyi, that was in the past.”
I pressed my lips into a smile.
“Something that happened just a month ago-does that count as the past?”
