Chapter 11
“Min Hao!”
Before I came to Beijing, he was the one who played the best.
During our growth, we occasionally kept in touch.
He just received his admission letter.
Arrived here early to adapt to the environment and travel at the same time.
We wandered for a while.
Min Hao suddenly stopped.
“What’s wrong?”
He furrowed his brows, feigning mystery.
“I always feel there’s danger lurking in the shadows.”
“No way, Beijing has great public security.”
He scratched his head, “When I went hunting with my dad in the mountains, we encountered lurking wolves several times. It’s that same eerie feeling…”
I looked around.
“There’s nothing.”
He pressed his lips, “When that wolf king wanted to eat me, my dad didn’t believe it either, and I almost died.”
But this isn’t the desolate forests of the northwest.
We moved forward.
Encountered a flower vendor.
Min Hao picked a bouquet of roses and showed them to me.
“Do they look good?”
I nodded, “Not bad.”
He rubbed his neck, scanning the surroundings.
“Why does my neck feel a bit itchy? What’s going on today…”
“Help me pick some nice ones, my girlfriend is coming to pick me up.”
I nodded.
In the end, he held a large bouquet of roses.
He originally wanted to buy me a sunflower symbolizing friendship, but I declined.
There are so many sunflowers in the Yan Residence’s back garden that they’re practically rotting.
We stood by the roadside for a while.
Min Hao successfully met his online girlfriend in person.
I happened to have shown him around enough.
Turned around, found my little scooter, and headed home.
The battery was low, so it ran slow.
By the time I reached the Yan Residence.
The lights were bright, voices bustling.
Upon entering, I stopped Aunt Chen, who was cooking.
She sighed.
“The young master was locked in his room, not sure what kind of shock he received, jumped out of the window and ran away.”
She clicked her tongue.
“Just below the window are roses planted, his legs got scratched by the thorns, bleeding profusely. He just returned, limping, and his eyes looked like they’d cried, red and swollen…”
I sneaked upstairs.
Heard the smoke rising again between Mrs. Yan and Yan Chen.
Yan Chen got slapped.
His exceptionally handsome face exuded a chilling aura.
“If you dare let Xiao Hua monitor me, I’ll dare to kill her.”
Mrs. Yan’s shoulders slightly moved.
Angry, yet maintaining elegance.
“Of course, son.”
“But in our game, when have you ever won?”
I secretly watched as Yan Chen’s expression darkened.
He said nothing more.
Mrs. Yan looked down at him, then turned and left.
I hid behind a large vase.
Originally wanted to sneak away.
Suddenly, a cold voice drifted over from behind.
“Xiao Hua, you finally decided to come back?”
