SOLD to My Ex: A Forbidden Service Contract - Chapter 2
After cussing him out, I should have stormed out and slammed the door. But that black card was still lying on the table, shining so brightly it was blinding.
It’s strange, how can something black be so shiny? I stared at it for a few seconds, then finally walked over and plopped down on the sofa.
Zhou Yan’s lips curled into a smirk, as if he were enjoying a little scene of submission.
“Sign an agreement,” he said. “I’m afraid you’ll back out.”
He pulled out a pre-prepared paper contract from the side, with “Customized Private Housekeeping Service Terms” printed on it.
I glanced at it. The first page read: “Service Recipient: Zhou Yan.”
“You planned this all along, didn’t you?” I raised an eyebrow, thinking something wasn’t right about this.
“What if you really hit rock bottom and came to me?” he said casually. “One has to have a backup plan. Always be prepared to do what’s best for you.”
I didn’t bother to respond, just flipped open the contract and immediately frowned at the second clause.
“Clause 2: During the service period, you must arrive at the room by 9:00 PM every day.”
“What do you want me to do at nine at night? Getting old, going to bed so early?”
“Keep me company for a late-night snack, watch a movie, and occasionally listen to me vent.” he said with a straight face, but his expression was anything but serious.
“Where did you pick up such a weird habit?”
He looked down at me, his gaze sweeping from the collar of my uniform all the way down to my ankles, like he was inspecting merchandise. “Is this what you wear for clients now?”
I couldn’t help but retort, “Should I wear a wedding dress? Or stockings?”
He chuckled, then suddenly reached out and flicked open a corner of my uniform jacket, revealing the white shirt underneath. “You guys have some serious tastes these days, but the server uniform suits you. A uniform fantasy, nice. Do you do role-playing?”
Then he hummed a song: “Who do you really love me as? I’ll play any role.”
I ignored him and continued reading. “Clause 4: You may not leave the premises without permission. A fine of 1,000 yuan will be deducted for each violation.”
“Are you hiring someone, or keeping a pet?”
“You don’t have to sign. Besides, you’re not a pig, why would I keep you in a pen?” He threw his hands up. “You know I only like monkeys.”
I scoffed, not bothering to argue. He was crazy, I wanted money. It wasn’t a conflict.
I quickly signed my name and slapped the pen on the table. “It’s signed. Don’t think for a second that just because you have a black card, you can treat people like pets.”
Zhou Yan slowly leaned in, the smile on his face looking as if it were coated in poison. “Right now, you’re the only pet in this club… that I want. How about you bark a little for me, for old times’ sake.”
My eyes narrowed and I instinctively tried to back away, but he leaned in closer, laughing by my ear, “Sometimes, when little dogs misbehave, they need to be put on a leash.”
I looked up at him, suppressed a shudder, and said coldly, “I’ll provide the services as per the contract, but I’m adding one condition. If you dare touch me again, I’m calling the police.”
He laughed after hearing that and nodded slowly. “Fine. I’m a germaphobe. I don’t touch dirty things.”
Now he’s acting all high and mighty with his germaphobia.
How many times have you been in and out of my door…
