Summary
Everyone would smile at my parents and say the same thing.
“Two daughters and one son. That’s the best.”
But no one ever said who it was best for.
No one explained what was so good about it.
No one explained why it was good.
And if someone had it good, who had it bad?
I figured out the answer when I was seven.
