The next day, I got up early, dressed carefully, bought breakfast, and waited in front of the boys’ dormitory.

Watching the endless stream of boys, I encountered a new problem.

I’m mildly face-blind, and yesterday I was too busy looking at bank cards, checking my phone balance, admiring luxury cars, and marveling at faces that spoke of technological prosperity, so I couldn’t quite remember what that boy looked like.

All I remembered was that he was dressed in black and had a diamond stud in his left ear.

Holding the breakfast, I stared intently at every boy’s ear, searching carefully.

Five minutes later, a boy dressed all in black with a black stud in his left ear walked out of the dormitory. I quickly put on my professional smile and walked over to him.

“Good morning, hubby.”

The boy froze on the spot, the air around us quiet for a moment, then the boys nearby started teasing with mischievous laughter.

“Nice one, Jiang Yifan. Since when did you get a girlfriend?”

“Isn’t that our junior?”

“You even managed to win over our department’s Ice Beauty?”

Jiang Yifan? The Senior from my department?

“Sorry, my girlfriend isn’t fully awake this morning. She mistook you for someone else.”

A familiar voice sounded behind me. A slender arm lazily draped over my shoulder, and he lowered his head slightly, his dark eyes glinting with amusement. “Your hubby is right here, girlfriend.”
