chapter 15
The next day, I dragged myself out of bed, aching all over, only to be stuffed into the car by Song Yan and rushed off to school for morning classes.
I rubbed my back and complained.
“You held me so tight, I feel like my waist is broken.”
Song Yan sounded a little embarrassed.
“I was just afraid you’d fall off, it wasn’t on purpose.”
“You weren’t afraid I’d fall off, you were afraid I wouldn’t die properly.”
“Alright, alright, I’ll make it up to you. Send me your card number, I’ll renew it for another year.”
I perked up immediately, sent over a string of numbers, then realized something.
“Aren’t you graduating in half a year?”
“None of your business. I just like student girls, okay?”
I mused thoughtfully.
“If you put it that way, maybe I should consider taking a break and repeating a year.”
Song Yan shot me a speechless look.
“There’s really nothing you won’t think of.”
We made it to the teaching building just in time, and there was only one seat left in the classroom.
As soon as I sat down, two sharp looks swept over from the row in front.
Chen Jiajia and Xuanxuan were staring at me, faces full of disappointment.
Yesterday, I told them I was going to talk to Song Yan and left, then fell asleep before I could reply to their messages.
Didn’t come back last night-they must have misunderstood.
After barely surviving two hours, as soon as the bell rang, Xuanxuan and Chen Jiajia dragged me back to the dorm and sat me down solemnly:
“Sisi, we need to talk. If Song Yan has moved on, just let him go. We know you’re short on money, but you can’t use your body to keep a man! If you keep this up, we really…”
“Stop, stop, stop.” I hurriedly interrupted, afraid they’d say something outrageous. “Nothing happened last night, Song Yan was drunk and I just took him home.”
Xuanxuan eyed me suspiciously. “Really nothing happened?”
“Uh… we hugged.”
“Was it voluntary?”
“Well… half voluntary.”
Chen Jiajia frowned.
“So, in the end, are you the one lusting after him?”
“Don’t say that, I wasn’t.” I lowered my head guiltily.
Can’t say there was no wicked thought at all.
There was a little bit of longing, to be honest.
