Chapter 5
“Afraid I’ll touch him?” Chen Sui pinned me against the tree, his pitch-black eyes fixed on me.
“Still thinking about him, huh? Just because he was your first love?”
I felt a bit helpless and wrapped my arms around his neck.
“What’s there to think about? He’s not as tall as you, not as handsome, and not as rich.”
The boy who had been so full of hostility just moments ago was instantly soothed.
He raised his eyebrows. “Pretty shallow, Qiao Xi.”
I admitted it openly.
Chen Sui spoke again, slow and deliberate: “I’ll let you experience something deeper in the future.”
“What?” I was stunned, looking at him in confusion.
He breathed against my ear, laughing: “Once we get our marriage certificate, I’ll take you to bed. Then you’ll know.”
I realized what he meant and twisted his arm, glaring at him.
Jerk, his mind is full of filth!
I was about to kick him away and break free.
But he effortlessly pressed me back against the tree.
Chen Sui cupped the side of my face with one hand and leaned down to kiss me.
I clenched my teeth, deliberately refusing to open my mouth.
He wasn’t in a hurry either. After lingering for a while, the hand on the back of my neck slid forward and pinched my earlobe.
I shuddered all over and instinctively relaxed, letting him pry my teeth apart.
Only when I was nearly out of breath did he finally pull away, unhurried.
He kissed the corner of my lips, absentmindedly.
“How come after all this time, you still haven’t learned how to breathe?”
I wanted to ask myself the same thing-how, after so long, do I still blush every time Chen Sui kisses me.
