Chapter 10
In the tranquil atmosphere, I suddenly recalled the provocative words Mu Zejia had said to Chen Sui.
“When I was kissing her, you didn’t even know where you were.”
I paused for a moment. Although he had never asked, nor shown any sign of caring about it,
I still didn’t want him to keep it bottled up inside.
I lifted my head from Chen Sui’s embrace and looked at him.
“Mu Zejia was just talking nonsense today, don’t take it seriously. I was only with him for less than two months, and the most he ever did was hug me once.”
Chen Sui instantly understood what I meant and let out a soft laugh.
He reached up and brushed my lips. “Are you trying to comfort me?”
My face grew a little warm. I blinked and admitted it openly.
“Yes.”
“I really didn’t mind that much. Even if it wasn’t true, it wouldn’t matter. What I like is you, you understand?”
There was a visible seriousness in his eyes.
But even if he said he didn’t care, I didn’t quite believe he wasn’t jealous at all.
So, I deliberately teased him.
“Really?” I tilted my head to look at him. “I wonder who it was, after hearing Mu Zejia’s words, whose face turned so dark it looked like…”
Before I could finish, Chen Sui pressed the back of my neck and leaned down to seal my lips with his.
His kiss was a bit fierce.
The silence around us made the sound of our swallowing even more pronounced.
I couldn’t catch my breath and pushed him twice.
Only then did he let me go.
Chen Sui buried his face in the crook of my neck, saying nothing.
After a while, he finally spoke, still in that gruff tone.
But I could hear a hint of grievance.
“Just to kiss you, I didn’t even dare smoke for two days.”
“I don’t have any experience either, damn it. I was afraid your first time would be a bad one.”
I remembered that day-it was the first kiss for both of us.
As the distance closed and our warmth pressed together, Chen Sui was just as inexperienced.
The first kiss was a reckless yet tender exploration.
