“Let’s break up, Chen Sui.”

I sniffed.

After typing those few words, I wiped away the tears that had dripped onto my phone.

The moment I hit send, I couldn’t help but hug my knees and start crying.

Today, I saw him from afar kissing another girl, but I didn’t have the courage to go up and confront him.

I was afraid that if Chen Sui got angry, his 1.87-meter-tall frame would just toss me aside.

He hasn’t hit me before, but isn’t that how it always goes on TV…

How did I end up with another jerk?

Thinking this, I couldn’t help but cry even harder.

Suddenly, my phone rang.

I wiped my tears and picked it up to look.

Chen Sui didn’t reply to my message; he called directly.

I cleared my throat before answering.

“What do you mean?” His voice betrayed no emotion.

I wanted to sound tough, so my tone was unconsciously assertive. “You cheated on me. I want to break up.”

“What did I do?” He actually sounded genuinely incredulous.

I felt emboldened.

So I said, “I saw it all. Downstairs at your dorm, you kissed someone else.”

“What nonsense are you talking about?”

“You won’t even admit it.” My anger flared. “Let’s break up, jerk!”

Chen Sui let out a cold snort, his voice completely devoid of warmth.

“If you’ve got the guts, say it to my face.”
