My face burning, I showed the phone screen to my bestie.

“This is why.”

“He’s always sending me stuff like this that I can’t handle.”

After reading it, my bestie’s expression immediately turned teasing.

“Wow, Lu Xiao is certainly direct when he’s chasing someone. Are you saying you feel offended by it?”

I shook my head. “I don’t, really. I know that’s just his personality.”

Bold, lazy, and untamed.

My bestie tried to comfort me.

“Well, if you’re not offended, then that’s great, isn’t it? The fact that he wants to kiss you means he’s attracted to you. Otherwise, it would just be a platonic thing.”

But I sighed.

“It also means he wants to sleep with me, that he’s just looking for a thrill.”
