Good Night, Mr. Ghost - Chapter 59
The young man was gasping for air, staring at the man with a sinister aura in front of him, feeling as if a wrong answer would lead him to be devoured.
Jiang muttered, “Really, it wasn’t like this before.”
“Don’t you like it? Chenyi, don’t you like this side of me?” Mr. Ghost nuzzled his cheek, his eyes brimming with affection and obsession.
Jiang looked at his lover, whose face was twisted into a perverted smile, and suddenly felt, “Indeed, it was all just a disguise before.”
He reached out, cradled his lover’s face, and sighed, “Finally showing your true nature, huh? You’ve endured it for over a year. Must have been tough.”
Mr. Ghost’s smirk grew even more pronounced as he grasped Jiang’s hands, interlocking their fingers and nuzzling his neck like a playful puppy, occasionally planting soft kisses.
“It’s nice, isn’t it? You like this side of me too, right, Chenyi? Even though it’s too much, you still love me, right?” Mr. Ghost’s voice was sticky and affectionate.
Jiang felt that calling Meng Loudi ‘Mr. Ghost’ was an understatement; he should be called ‘Ghost Slime’.
Yes, just like those sticky little monsters.
Loving to act cute and always pretending.
Tsk tsk, truly incredible.
“Yes, yes, I love Mr. Ghost the most,” Jiang said, looking at the ceiling, feeling drowsy.
He absolutely couldn’t handle any more of this.
He was going to die, for sure.
“Say a bit more, just a bit more, I love hearing it, Chenyi~ Chenyi,” Meng Loudi persisted in his coquettish behavior.
Jiang freed his left hand and pressed it against his lover’s restless head, his expression calm, “I know Mr. Ghost isn’t exactly a good person because, you see, I like to judge people based on my instincts. Some people are like cats, some like dogs, others like dolphins. Loudi, do you know what I think you are?”
“What is it?”
“In my instincts, Mr. Ghost is like a snake adorned with starlight and beautiful petals. The kind that could bite me to death.” The young man’s voice was even, yet tinged with a smile.
“So, even though Chenyi has figured some things out, you still choose to love me?”
Mr. Ghost held him tight, as if embracing his salvation.
“Love, if I don’t love Mr. Ghost, who else could I love?” The young man kissed his partner’s black hair sincerely, “I only want to love Mr. Ghost. If I ever stopped loving you, Meng Loudi, the world might as well end.”
Mr. Ghost’s heart pounded as he looked up at the young man, unable to restrain himself from biting his neck, feeling his emotions gradually stabilize.
“Chenyi, don’t tempt me, it’s late, let’s sleep. My Chenyi, you must live a long life.”
Mr. Ghost closed his eyes contentedly.
Jiang Chenyi, now exhausted by the antics of this enchanting demon: “…”
Dog man!
You’re going to be the death of Jiang!
Humph, so thrilling to tease and then run away.
Though a bit annoyed, in the familiar environment, the young man quickly fell into a deep sleep.
Meng Loudi opened his eyes in the darkness, his gaze gleaming red.
His hand rested on the young man’s heart, feeling the vibrant pulse.
How wonderful, let’s stay together forever.
Chenyi, my Chenyi, I gave you a chance.
You didn’t seize it; you didn’t let go of me.
To love you, to love you even more.
So much love, deadly love…
And then, it seemed everything was beautiful.
Of course, the day after that event, neither Mr. Ghost nor Jiang went to work.
Jiang had to pay the price for his actions.
Especially after seriously declaring his love only for Meng Loudi.
Mr. Ghost wanted to give his heart to the young man.
Thus, the current situation arose.
The floor-to-ceiling windows were fixed, shining clean, and the young man slumped on the sofa, his gaze blankly fixed on the TV program.
Mr. Ghost, wearing a small apron, brought over a cake and sat next to the young man, smiling, “Chenyi, want some?”
Jiang Chenyi stared blankly at him, suddenly raised his leg, then gasped.
“Ouch-so painful.”
His foot then landed on Mr. Ghost’s shoulder.
Jiang would rather hurt the enemy a thousand times at the expense of eight hundred to himself, but now it seemed like hurting the enemy a hundred times at the expense of ten thousand to himself.
The man looked helplessly away and sighed, feeding the cake to the young man, “Stop it, does it still hurt? Need more medicine?”
Jiang bit into the cake’s cream, munching grumpily, “No need, it’s not that painful.”
“Is that so? That’s good,” Mr. Ghost still maintained his Mr. Nice Guy demeanor.
As gentle as jade, a gentleman, a good husband and father, a beast in sheep’s clothing.
Yes, that’s right.
Jiang was still kicking Mr. Ghost, hardly daring to move.
Although it wasn’t very painful anymore, it still hurt a bit.
Mr. Ghost watched his love eat the small cake, then gently held his ankle and set his foot down softly.
“If you still need to rest today, continue to take leave tomorrow,” he murmured, caressing his face.
Jiang looked at him and said, “Loudi.”
“Hmm?”
“Now that we both know each other’s secrets, right?”
“Yes.”
“Then, if there’s anything you don’t like, you must tell me.” The young man rubbed the man’s cool fingers, looking aside, “You must have some dislikes, right?”
Mr. Ghost swallowed.
“How did you know?”
Jiang rolled his eyes, “There must be, you just never mentioned them.”
“You never mentioned yours either.”
“That’s because Loudi always acts according to my preferences!” Jiang insisted.
If Mr. Ghost played the role of a good husband and father, he could surely win the title of Top Ten Good Husbands and Fathers.
From the moment they confirmed their relationship, Mr. Ghost seemed to exist solely to meet Jiang Chenyi’s needs.
Every detail was perfect.
But it seemed that, apart from seeking his love, Mr. Ghost had no other demands.
Meng Loudi thought for a moment, although it wasn’t much, he might as well mention it.
“I want to change one thing,” Mr. Ghost said solemnly.
Jiang also became serious, “As long as it’s not too much, it’s fine.”
Then, Mr. Ghost took off his clothes.
Jiang’s heart raced, he really couldn’t take it anymore!
Could the man he chose be so beastly?!
Then, under Jiang’s horrified gaze, Mr. Ghost changed into a set of wide-sleeved robes.
It was a simple white outfit, not fancy, but when worn by Meng Loudi, it added a touch of cold elegance.
Every movement was filled with gentle charm.
Jiang covered his nose, truly afraid he might bleed.
Fortunately, he managed to hold it together.
Meng Loudi looked at his blushing lover, deliberately smiling with ethereal grace, “I still like wearing these. They’re comfortable.”
“Wear them if you like, just not out,” Jiang said nonchalantly.
“Alright, next time, if there’s a chance, let’s wear them together,” Mr. Ghost suggested gently as he sat next to the young man.
“Okay.”
“How about now?” Mr. Ghost leaned in, seemingly very interested in this matter.
Jiang touched his nose and said, “I can’t move right now, you help me undress.”
“Alright,” Mr. Ghost smiled sweetly, reaching out his sinister hands.
And so, Jiang was manipulated like a doll.
Fortunately, Mr. Ghost was still very gentle with him, carefully removing his clothes and directly dressing him in an outfit.
Jiang, who suffered less, breathed a sigh of relief.
Mr. Ghost stroked his black hair, saying, “Chenyi looks really good.”
He had conjured a dark outfit for him, embroidered with bright gold patterns, with a golden carp coalescing on the left chest.
The black outfit made the young man’s skin appear even whiter, but when Mr. Ghost’s hands touched him.
That was the real contrast of black and white.
Jiang looked at that pale skin, feeling as if he was going insane.
How could someone be so beautiful?
Damn it, it’s over.
Not just this life, Jiang felt he couldn’t escape in the next life either.
There wouldn’t be another existence more enchanting to his heart than Meng Loudi.
Perhaps, this was what being bewitched truly meant.
Mr. Ghost lowered his gaze, tenderly saying, “Chenyi looks so good.”
“You, too, look good, the best-looking.”
The young man just watched him, as if gazing at a rare treasure.
How wonderful.
The two lived a simple life, between home and office.
Jiang acted as Mr. Ghost’s personal secretary, and Mr. Ghost diligently worked in the office.
No major incidents requiring Mr. Ghost’s intervention occurred.
On November 23rd.
A light snow fell.
Floating snowflakes descended, creating a white haze as seen from the forty-eighth floor, as if the whole world was enshrouded in a layer of gauze.
Jiang sat opposite Meng Loudi, reviewing documents.
This was just busywork given to him by Brownish.
Meng Loudi looked out at the snowy weather and said, “Chenyi, Chenyi! It’s snowing.”
Jiang, dressed in a white V-neck sweater and beige shirt, glanced down at the documents and replied, “Hmm.”
Being from the north, he wasn’t particularly moved by snow.
The feeling of being ignored made Mr. Ghost slightly unhappy.
Now adept at acting spoiled, Meng Loudi simply reached out, cupped his lover’s cheeks, and said, “Chenyi! Look at me.”
“What’s up?” Jiang touched his fingers.
The touch was cool, like fine jade.
“Chenyi, it’s the first snow. Let’s go out and play,” Mr. Ghost’s eyes sparkled brightly.
Jiang paused, “Huh?”
“It’s the first snow of the season. I want to go out and play with Chenyi. Let’s go to the amusement park,” Meng Loudi finally expressed his wish.
He had learned about various things he wanted to try with Chenyi at the amusement park.
But Chenyi was a serious lover, hoping he would be a diligent chief and chairman.
Although it didn’t matter, his position and duties created inconveniences!
He needed to carve out time for Chenyi from his work schedule.
Poor ghost.
Jiang looked at his expression, a bit slow to react.
Why suddenly go to an amusement park?
But it seemed that his partner was very happy and looking forward to it.
“Then, let’s go. But your work…” Jiang glanced at the pile of documents on his desk.
