Demonic King of the Metropolis - Chapter 64 - Killing Wang Dachao
Looking at the corpse on the ground, Tang Jie’s brows were once again filled with a hint of coldness.
“Hmph, this is your ending.”
“I will kill you.” The man called Third Brother suddenly charged at Tang Jie, his machete swiftly aiming for Tang Jie’s vitals.
From his movements, it was evident that he was significantly stronger than the dead Fourth Brother, but he was still too weak for Tang Jie.
Tang Jie was too lazy to waste words. He coldly glanced at the machete swinging rapidly toward him, his body paused as if time had stopped. Then, with only a brief moment of hesitation, Tang Jie explosively lunged forward, effortlessly dodged Third Brother’s machete, and swiftly struck his opponent’s neck.
The entire motion was decisive, brutal, and quick. Everyone watching was still trying to process what just happened.
Their Third Brother had already fallen, his head rolling to the side, but even at this moment, he hadn’t completely died; his eyes were wide open, still capable of seeing everything around him, but all the tendons in his body had been severed, leaving him unable to even blink.
“Ah…”
“Ugh…”
Seeing this scene, everyone was filled with rage and sorrow in an instant. The entire scene erupted into chaos as all eight ancient martial artists charged at Tang Jie without regard for their lives.
In light of this, Tang Jie quickly dodged, but unexpectedly, a pair of hands grabbed his foot and held on tightly.
“Let go!” Tang Jie shouted angrily, swinging his sword. The hands gripping his foot were instantly severed in two.
However, the man, despite losing his hands, still ignored the pain and locked his remaining arm around Tang Jie’s foot with a tight embrace.
It was clear that these people had gone completely mad. Tang Jie didn’t feel scared; instead, he thought these people shouldn’t have to die. Unfortunately, they insisted on opposing him and obstructing his path.
Was it worth it for these ancient martial artists, who had spent decades cultivating, to risk it all for a vicious playboy?
Seeing this, Tang Jie decided to give them a chance for survival. He looked at the man clinging to his feet and concentrated, sending an invisible force into the man’s body.
Within moments, the man’s body began to react, the ancient martial artists’ true qi inside him slowly dissipating.
Tang Jie was struck by several blows, but he felt it was worth it. With his extraordinary healing ability, those wounds would heal quickly anyway.
He didn’t mind the trouble; while battling against several ancient martial arts masters, he had swiftly channeled his true qi into their bodies. As for the ones that needed to be killed, they had already been taken care of, leaving the rest with their cultivation severed.
After a while, everything came to an end. The remaining six ancient martial arts masters lay on the ground, convulsing and crying out in pain.
Tang Jie glanced coldly at them and shouted, “Listen well, we had no grudges or enmity. I didn’t want to take your lives, but since you blocked my path, I had no choice but to strip you of your cultivation.”
With that said, he paid no attention to their reactions. He looked toward the third floor, leaped up suddenly, and with a sharp sound, his sword pierced through the glass.
Once that was done, Tang Jie had only one goal left: Wang Dachao. However, as he flew through the broken window, Wang Dachao’s figure was nowhere to be found. The room was filled only with women, who were hastily dressing themselves.
“Where is Wang Dachao?” Tang Jie swung his sword, not caring about the scene before him, shouting loudly.
Seeing the humming sword in Tang Jie’s hand, the women who had just been lost in ecstasy had never encountered such a situation before. They trembled and stammered, “We… don’t know. He just ran away a moment ago.”
“Hmph.” Tang Jie snorted coldly, bringing his sword down to slice through one woman’s clothing, sending tattered fabric flying through the air.
“Quickly tell me, which direction did he run?”
“B… back door.” The woman trembled, completely forgetting her state of undress.
In truth, Tang Jie didn’t care to look. In his mind, these women were nothing more than animals slightly more noble than a stray dog. He cast a fleeting glance at them before hastily kicking open the door, then quickly jumped out of the back window of the villa.
Sure enough, in the distance, Wang Dachao was hurriedly getting dressed while running for his life.
“You don’t need to run anymore.” Tang Jie’s voice echoed suddenly. By the time Wang Dachao turned around, he realized Tang Jie had somehow arrived right behind him.
Instantly, Wang Dachao felt a surge of fear, causing his legs to tremble involuntarily.
“No, please don’t kill me! I’ll give you anything you want,” Wang Dachao pleaded desperately.
“Actually, there’s something I want.” Tang Jie looked at Wang Dachao coldly.
Hearing Tang Jie’s words, Wang Dachao’s spirits lifted. He hurriedly zipping up his jacket, he said, “Brother, whatever you want, just name it! I’ll get it for you. I guarantee I can find it within half a day, as long as it exists in this world.”
Wang Dachao was convinced that no one in this world didn’t love money, even someone like Tang Jie, an ancient martial artist.
However, Wang Dachao was completely wrong. He had no idea that what Tang Jie wanted was the one thing he could never part with.
“What I want is quite simple: your life.” Tang Jie chuckled darkly, lightly swinging his sword. Immediately, a gash was torn into the grass nearby by the sword qi.
“No! You can’t kill me! Someone will surely take revenge for me!” Wang Dachao shouted in panic.
“Is that so? And what of it?” Tang Jie said, slowly closing the distance between them.
“No, no, don’t come closer! I can give you endless money, countless beauties-anything you desire, I can provide!” Wang Dachao stammered.
“Ha! Wang Dachao, do you still not understand where you went wrong?” Tang Jie replied coldly, making a slight movement with his sword, causing Wang Dachao’s ear to begin to detach from his head.
A burning sensation radiated from Wang Dachao’s ear, and he didn’t even realize it was gone until he touched the hot, bleeding area. Panic surged as he felt the warmth flow over his hand.
“Ah! My ear!” Wang Dachao screamed in terror, covering the bleeding wound, whimpering uncontrollably.
Seeing his reaction, Tang Jie snorted coldly and slowly rested the sword on his shoulder.
“Wang Dachao, are you afraid?” Tang Jie asked with an unusually serious expression.
Wang Dachao, wracked with pain, struggled to raise his head. However, when he saw Tang Jie’s face, his expression suddenly fell.
“I’m not afraid. No, no, I am afraid! Please, don’t kill me! I’ll give you all my assets!” he begged.
“Who would want that?” Tang Jie shouted again, gently slicing off Wang Dachao’s other ear.
“In your next life, remember not to bully others.” Tang Jie said, watching the severed ear fall to the ground as he squatted down to look at Wang Dachao.
Unexpectedly, Wang Dachao realized he couldn’t escape death, and he lunged at Tang Jie like a mad dog, attempting to bite him.
“Ugh!” A sharp, piercing sound echoed through the air, making even Tang Jie’s teeth feel like they were itching.
As he looked back at Wang Dachao, who was charging at him, Tang Jie saw him fiercely pushing aside the arm holding the shining sword and using his bloodied hands to cover his bleeding mouth tightly.
In that moment, Wang Dachao had bitten down on Tang Jie’s sword, breaking his teeth and cutting his own skin.
Seeing this, Tang Jie felt a suppressed excitement burst free, and he acted even more recklessly.
“Ha ha! My sword tastes pretty good, doesn’t it? Want to try another bite?”
“Mmm…” Wang Dachao mumbled incoherently, but after a while, Tang Jie couldn’t understand a word he said.
“You don’t want it? What a shame.” Tang Jie pretended to lament as he looked at his sword, then stood up slowly.
Suddenly, Tang Jie began to dance around on the grass with his sword, creating a whistling sound as he moved. Moments later, when he turned to look at Wang Dachao again, he saw that his hands and feet were severed, lying on the ground.
Blood was still gushing from Wang Dachao’s mouth, and his facial expressions were shifting wildly.
At this moment, he was unable to speak or make any movement, all he could do was stare in terror at Tang Jie. Noticing Wang Dachao’s expression, Tang Jie raised an eyebrow and asked, “Do you find me unpleasant? Want to kill me?”
“Mmm…” Wang Dachao muttered, his body thrashing about uncontrollably.
“Eh, you do look rather pitiful. You said you didn’t want to die, right? All right, I’ll let you continue living,” Tang Jie said with a radiant smile, while his hands continued to move gracefully.
As a flow of true qi entered Wang Dachao’s body, the blood that had been gushing from his wounds suddenly stopped.
“Mmm…” Wang Dachao struggled again, his body thrashing even more violently.
“What’s wrong? Do you want to die now?” Tang Jie smiled at the mumbling Wang Dachao and lightly waved his sword, instantly slicing off another chunk of flesh from Wang Dachao’s already healed arm and thigh.
From the severed flesh, a fresh surge of warm, red blood erupted like a flood once more.
