“Joint Lock?!”
Tang Jie was momentarily stunned, then quickly raised his arm to counter Hu-Ge’s joint lock attempt. He swiftly grabbed Hu-Ge’s arm, pulled him forward, and was about to slam him to the ground with a shoulder throw.
Unexpectedly, Hu-Ge performed a nimble roll, avoiding being thrown down by Tang Jie, and without stopping, he charged at Tang Jie again.
The two exchanged blows, seemingly evenly matched, but in reality, Tang Jie had not yet unleashed his full strength.
With a burst of power from his legs, Hu-Ge launched another attack, bellowing “Chokehold!”
The chokehold, a common move in the military, could easily be lethal if the user intended to kill. At the very least, it could break the opponent’s collarbone or even twist their cervical vertebrae.
Seeing this, Tang Jie didn’t dodge or evade; he met Hu-Ge’s attack with a palm strike.
“Shh…”
With a single palm, Hu-Ge was forced back two meters, his eyes wide with shock as he looked at Tang Jie.
It had been a long time since Hu-Ge had tasted defeat, but now, he was overcome by a young man in just two moves, and it seemed as if Tang Jie still had strength to spare.
Hu-Ge was indignant. He, who had long held a position of superiority and never faced defeat, roared and charged at Tang Jie once more.
This time, he used his full strength and his signature move, which had saved him from death and helped him defeat stronger opponents on numerous occasions.
“Heart Snatching Strike!”
With a furious shout, Hu-Ge charged like a tiger sprinting to catch its prey, closing the distance in the blink of an eye. His right hand formed a claw, reaching for Tang Jie’s heart.
“What a vicious move!” Tang Jie recognized Hu-Ge’s intent. The Heart Snatching Strike, as the name suggests, was aimed at removing the opponent’s heart.
It seemed Hu-Ge, frustrated by his earlier setback, had become murderous, hence his use of such a deadly technique.
As Hu-Ge’s Heart Snatching Strike was about to land, Tang Jie wasted no time, his ghost-like figure springing into action.
In the blink of an eye, Tang Jie appeared behind Hu-Ge. Before Hu-Ge could react, Tang Jie grabbed his arm, tightening his grip.
“Crack…”
The sound of bones shattering abruptly filled the air, causing Hu-Ge’s face to drastically change as beads of sweat the size of soybeans formed on his forehead.
“Ah…”
A heart-wrenching pain surged through him. Even Hu-Ge, who had endured devilish military training, couldn’t bear the agony of his shattered bones.
“Crack…”
Another faint sound echoed as Tang Jie now held Hu-Ge’s other arm. After letting go, Hu-Ge’s arms hung limply by his sides. Overwhelmed by pain, he collapsed and rolled on the ground, his cries of anguish filling the air.
Having done this, Tang Jie paid no further attention to Hu-Ge and turned away, slowly walking towards Wang Shiwen.
“What… what are you going to do?” Wang Shiwen stumbled back two steps, his fear palpable after witnessing Tang Jie’s extraordinary agility.
“What am I going to do…” Tang Jie said with a smile, “Didn’t you just say you wanted one of my legs? Now, I’m returning the favor.”
“You!!” Wang Shiwen gasped and hastily retreated, looking around only to realize that he was the only one left standing; everyone else had either fainted or fled, with no one to come to his aid.
“You wouldn’t dare touch me-I am the designated heir of the Wang Group. If you lay a finger on me, my family won’t let you get away with it,” Wang Shiwen said, trying to intimidate Tang Jie with his family background.
But he was mistaken. The status he took pride in had no effect on Tang Jie.
“The Wang Group, I’m so scared!” Tang Jie said sarcastically, his face devoid of fear.
“You…”
Wang Shiwen clenched his teeth in frustration, powerless to respond.
Suddenly, Tang Jie quickened his pace, grabbed Wang Shiwen who was backing away, and with a swift move, threw him to the ground.
Then he lifted his foot and stomped down hard on Wang Shiwen’s leg, a familiar crunching sound echoing as Wang Shiwen’s thigh bone was broken by Tang Jie’s forceful stomp.
“Ah… Tang Jie!!!”
With one leg broken, Wang Shiwen howled, staring up at Tang Jie who towered over him, his voice thick with undisguised hatred.
“This isn’t over between us!”
Watching Tang Jie break his leg and then turn to leave without a word, his eyes filled with a hint of disdain, Wang Shiwen shouted angrily.
…
Guanqian Street, a commercial pedestrian street that combines entertainment, leisure, and fashion, bustles with dazzling goods and a steady stream of shoppers.
In a newly opened women’s lingerie shop, a crowd of beauties was busy picking out their favorite lingerie.
“Giggle… Shuran-Jie, I told you this place has nice stuff. Look, this lace-edged one is really pretty,” Xiao Ran said, handing a purple lingerie item to Chen Shuran.
“Hmm, it’s nice, but it seems a bit too big,” Chen Shuran commented, frowning as she held up the purple lace lingerie for comparison.
“Who said it’s for you? I just wanted you to see if it looks good,” Xiao Ran giggled, snatching the lingerie back from Chen Shuran’s hands.
“Hmph, it’s not pretty!” Chen Shuran pouted and turned away to browse for her own lingerie.
“Hey, Shuran-Jie, stop browsing and come with me. I’ll try it on for you to see how it looks,” Xiao Ran said, and without waiting for Chen Shuran’s consent, she pulled her into the dressing room.
In the small dressing room, two silhouettes stood. Xiao Ran quickly took off her top, slipped into the purple lace lingerie, blinked, and asked, “Shuran-Jie, how does it look? Pretty?”
“You little brat, I’ve noticed that yours seems to have gotten even bigger. Look, this lingerie size doesn’t even fit you right,” Chen Shuran commented with a hint of jealousy.
“Hehe… I don’t know either!” Xiao Ran chirped playfully, twirling around and nodding her head as if very pleased with the lingerie.
“Alright, I’m taking this one,” Xiao Ran said, changing back into her own clothes and then pulling Chen Shuran by the hand as they left the dressing room.
