Demonic King of the Metropolis - Chapter 22 - So Soft to Pinch!
In less than ten minutes, most of the students had left the school, but a few figures remained in Class 5 of Senior Year.
“Tang Jie…”
“Hmm?” Tang Jie turned his head and saw a sharp-featured, handsome young man looking at him with some hostility.
“I’m Wang Shiwen. I’m warning you, stay away from Chen Shuran, or you’ll regret it!” Wang Shiwen said arrogantly, looking down at Tang Jie.
“Wang Shiwen?” A thought crossed Tang Jie’s mind-this must be Young Master Wang that fat Zhou mentioned.
He then smiled and replied, “I haven’t approached Chen Shuran. Didn’t you see it was her who approached me?”
“Hmph…” Wang Shiwen snorted coldly, saying, “Pretending in front of me, are you? It seems you won’t shed tears until you see your coffin. You think a poor guy like you can touch the woman I’ve set my eyes on?”
Tang Jie grinned and calmly responded, “Whatever you say.”
Seeing Tang Jie’s nonchalant demeanor, Wang Shiwen felt a surge of irritation. With a cold smile, he said, “Just you wait…”
With that, Wang Shiwen turned and left, ignoring how Tang Jie might react.
Wang Shiwen’s threats didn’t bother Tang Jie at all. In fact, he was unfazed. Even if Wang Shiwen had a significant background, Tang Jie wasn’t one to be underestimated.
He was confident that Wang Shiwen, as an ordinary person, posed no real threat to him.
After Wang Shiwen left, Tang Jie went back to organizing his things. He noticed Chen Shuran had already left. His task was to protect her closely, and even though she was out of his sight, he had locked onto her presence.
At that moment, Chen Shuran was with her friend Xiao Ran on the school playground. They were chatting about something and occasionally burst into bell-like laughter.
Having packed up his things, Tang Jie grabbed his black shoulder bag and left the classroom.
By now, Chen Shuran had already confirmed in her heart that Tang Jie was someone her father arranged to protect her closely.
In a secluded corner of the school, Wang Shiwen sneered as he pulled out his phone and dialed a number.
“Hello, Hu-Ge? This is Wang Shiwen! Yeah, here’s the thing, I need you to send some guys to help me deal with a student. Yes, don’t worry, we can sort out the money issue. Alright… I’ll wait for you here then.” After finalizing the details and hanging up, Wang Shiwen’s eyes narrowed as he muttered, “Tang Jie, you’re done for this time!”
Unaware of the danger, Tang Jie casually strolled down from the teachers’ building, hands in pockets.
“Shuran-Jie, while I was passing by Guanqian Street yesterday, I saw a lingerie shop that had a lot of new styles. How about we go check it out now?” Xiao Ran, linking arms with Chen Shuran, chirped excitedly.
“What’s there to see!” Chen Shuran retorted petulantly, her gaze shifting from her friend’s impressive bust to her own, deflating in spirit as she muttered, “Why do you need to be so big, making life difficult for others?”
“Oh, come on, Shuran-Jie, just accompany me, will you? Mine are almost too tight to fit.” Xiao Ran’s cheeks turned a shade of red as she spoke.
“You’ll burst out of them, carrying around those big orbs isn’t tiring for you?” Chen Shuran blurted out, suddenly aware of her surroundings, she glanced around relieved that no one was nearby.
“Hmph, isn’t it better to be a bit bigger? That’s what men like!” Xiao Ran retorted, proudly thrusting out her chest.
“You naughty girl, not ashamed at all! Come here, let me squeeze them to see just how big they are.” Chen Shuran’s eyes gleamed mischievously as she giggled, her hands transforming into claws and lunging towards Xiao Ran.
“Ah… you big pervert.” Xiao Ran screamed, releasing Chen Shuran’s arm and immediately taking off running.
This scene was unfortunately witnessed by Tang Jie as he descended the stairs, and he overheard everything the two women said.
Though it was just playful banter between the two women, to Tang Jie, it seemed like outright flirtation!
“Nice squeeze!” Tang Jie stood still, swallowing hard and chuckling as he watched the two women run across the playground, his primal instincts fully aroused.
“Damn it!”
Realizing his reaction, Tang Jie cursed under his breath, quickly covered his groin, and ran out of the school gates in a flash.
Upon exiting the school gate, a deep voice called out from behind Tang Jie. He turned to see a man in a white shirt with dragon tattoos on each arm standing at a distance, accompanied by seven or eight other men.
“What are you looking at, kid? I’m talking to you!” the tattooed man glared and shouted at Tang Jie irritably.
“Is there something you need?” Tang Jie asked, feeling somewhat speechless. From the scene before him, it was clear they were there to cause trouble.
Tang Jie was puzzled-how could he attract so much attention? It was his first day at school, and trouble seemed to find him repeatedly.
“We’re here to solve problems for someone who paid us, kid. You’ve offended the wrong person. Come with us quietly, and you might avoid some pain, otherwise…” The tattooed man glanced at Tang Jie dismissively. In his mind, Tang Jie was just a student, and he’d been paid to teach students like this a lesson many times before.
“Who sent you?” Tang Jie asked, unfazed by the tattooed man’s threat, looking at him with a slight curiosity.
Meanwhile, a thought occurred to him-these people were likely sent by Wang Shiwen.
“You’re not qualified to know!” the tattooed man waved a large hand, signaling to his men, “Bring him over here!”
His men stepped forward upon hearing his command and walked toward Tang Jie.
In no time, they had Tang Jie held and taken to a nearby alley not far from No. 2 High School.
Noticing their practiced movements, Tang Jie curiously asked, “You guys do this often?”
One of the hoodlums, about twenty-six or twenty-seven years old, holding Tang Jie, sneered and replied, “We’re the enforcers in the No. 2 High School area. We get paid to take care of students like you who’ve crossed the wrong people. What do you think?”
“So, this is a common occurrence,” Tang Jie nodded, acknowledging the information.
“Kid, you’re the calmest student I’ve ever seen. I wonder if you’ll stay this calm in a moment!” The hoodlum from before laughed derisively, noticing that Tang Jie wasn’t panicking like most students would when dragged into a dark alley.
