e Beautiful Teacher! Part 2
Jin Yan was six or seven years older than Tang Jie, with a curvaceous figure, a fair, oval face, and large, expressive eyes. Despite being younger, Tang Jie couldn’t help but be captivated by Jin Yan’s mature and alluring aura.
“Hello, Mr. Tang, welcome to Class 5 of Senior Year. I hope you’ll study hard, as I am quite strict,” Jin Yan approached with a smile.
“Mm-hmm!” There seemed to be a magical quality to Jin Yan’s words that made Tang Jie nod subconsciously.
Class 5 of Senior Year was also where Chen Shuran studied, and coincidentally, her suitor, Wang Shiwen, was in the same class.
As the sole suitor and the designated heir of the Wang Group, it was no trouble for Wang Shiwen to arrange to be in the same class as Chen Shuran.
Inside the classroom, the students of Class 5 showed little surprise towards the new transfer student. Moreover, Tang Jie’s appearance wasn’t particularly striking, and nothing about him screamed wealth.
Thus, both the boys and girls merely glanced briefly at Tang Jie before losing interest.
Only Chen Shuran, sitting in the middle, and Wang Shiwen, to her left, felt a stir of emotion.
“Shuran-Jie, you say he’s not your lover, yet he transfers to our class. I bet he’s here for you!” Xiao Ran, who was sitting next to Chen Shuran, whispered to her.
“Xiao Ran, stop making things up. How many times do I have to tell you? He’s not my lover. What does his transferring here have to do with me?” Chen Shuran responded with an annoyed glance at Xiao Ran.
“Hehe… a denial is but a cover-up,” Xiao Ran said cheekily, winking playfully.
“It’s him!” Wang Shiwen narrowed his eyes, emitting a cold glint, muttering under his breath.
“Alright, Mr. Tang, find a seat you like; we’re about to start the lesson,” Jin Yan said after a brief introduction, prompting Tang Jie to find his own seat.
Tang Jie nodded, stepped off the platform, and looked around the classroom. He chose a desk close to Chen Shuran and sat down.
“Class, let’s begin our lesson. Please turn to page thirty-four of your history textbooks,” Jin Yan announced as she adjusted her gold-rimmed glasses and opened her textbook on the podium.
Tang Jie, seated at his desk, was organizing the books from his shoulder bag when an unexpected note slid across his desk.
“Why are you here?”
Unfolding the pristine note, Tang Jie was greeted by a line of neatly written script, signed by Chen Shuran. He smiled but chose not to reply, instead neatly folding the note back up and tucking it into his drawer.
“This jerk, he didn’t even reply to my note!” Chen Shuran muttered under her breath, slightly irritated as she noticed Tang Jie disregarding her message.
“Shuran-Jie, what are you doing?” Xiao Ran asked curiously, noticing Chen Shuran’s clenched teeth.
“Nothing, go back to your studies,” Chen Shuran snapped, turning her head away sharply.
Chen Shuran had slipped the note to Tang Jie covertly, careful to keep Xiao Ran, the ever-curious girl, unaware. If Xiao Ran had seen the note passing, she surely would’ve started guessing.
Unbeknownst to Chen Shuran, her secretive action had been witnessed by Wang Shiwen, who was sitting not too far from her.
“Chen Shuran… Chen Shuran,” Wang Shiwen muttered, his eyes blazing with anger.
Since freshman year, Wang Shiwen had been pursuing Chen Shuran, facing rejection every time. Chen Shuran’s indifferent attitude towards him had never changed, never once treating him with genuine regard.
Seeing Chen Shuran now, passing a note so affectionately to a new transfer student, stirred a deep resentment in Wang Shiwen.
“Chen Shuran, Tang Jie, good, good, good!” Wang Shiwen murmured, his face twisting into a sinister smile as he repeated the word ‘good’ three times.
A smile spread across Wang Shiwen’s face, a stark contrast to his previously grim and cold expression. However, beneath that handsome, smiling face, one couldn’t help but wonder what sinister schemes were hidden.
After class, Chen Shuran walked over to Tang Jie’s desk, leaning on it with both hands and staring at him intently. “You jerk, how did you end up here?” she exclaimed loudly. But then she quickly remembered that it might have been her father’s arrangement; since he was her bodyguard, he needed to be there to ensure her safety at all times.
“Didn’t you see? I’m here to attend classes…” Tang Jie shrugged and replied.
“Who allowed you to attend classes here?” Chen Shuran pouted, her face full of accusation, yet she couldn’t help but burst into a relieved laugh inside.
Tang Jie, taken aback by her question, responded with confusion, “Don’t you want me to attend classes here?”
“This…” Chen Shuran was momentarily at a loss for words, realizing in her haste she had forgotten that his presence was precisely for her protection.
Moreover, Chen Shuran couldn’t help but think, why was she reacting so strongly? He was just a bodyguard; what was so strange about him attending classes with her? What was going on with her?
“Tang Jie, isn’t Ms. Jin beautiful?” she asked, changing the subject with a sly smile.
“Beautiful!” Tang Jie nodded without hesitation.
“Pervert!!” Chen Shuran’s expression changed instantly, and she rolled her eyes at Tang Jie before swiftly twisting his waist with her hand.
“Ouch…”
“What are you doing?” Pain shot through his back, and Tang Jie gasped in surprise, thinking to himself that she was unusually irritable today. Could it be that time of the month?
Unfortunately, Chen Shuran didn’t answer him. After her actions, she turned around and left the classroom without another word to Tang Jie.
The morning passed without incident, and the bell signaling the end of class suddenly rang out, causing a stir throughout No. 2 High School.
Soon after, students began pouring out of the teaching buildings around the quiet campus, chatting and laughing as they left.
“These students… do they really hate studying that much?” Jin Yan stood in the corridor of the office building, watching the scene below and shaking her head in dismay.
