Chapter 27
Gu Haochen is four months pregnant. I am joining a crew for filming and will have to stay in Xiangshan for a while.
Gu Haochen is unwilling, thinking that during pregnancy I should stay by his side. Plus, I have a reputation for being flirtatious, and he’s afraid I’ll fall back into old habits.
I reassure him, swear that I would never do something like cheat during pregnancy, and promise that after filming wraps, I’ll come home and stay with Gu Haochen until the baby is born.
“But…” Gu Haochen still won’t relent.
I show him the actor’s handbook: “What are you worried about? The lead Omega acting with me is someone you know-it’s your childhood friend…”
On the handbook is a male Omega with mixed features, striking looks, and eyes as blue as the sea.
Gu Haochen blurts out, “Wei Lian…”
He seems relieved, yet somehow even more worried.
That night, I spent a long time coaxing him, whispering sweet nothings in his ear without reservation, persuading him to let me join the crew.
After all, the big scene I’ve arranged is still waiting for Wei Lian to take the stage.
