Summary
Yet another cold war with Zhou Xiao had begun.
I was just about to send him a long, emotional essay to make amends when a stream of bullet comments suddenly flashed across my vision:
[Here we go, here we go. The male lead’s buddies egged him on to give the female lead the cold shoulder again. He’s so stupid.]
[The male lead steps out from under his friends’ “umbrella” only to realize it isn’t even raining. LMAO.]
[Keep playing games. Once he actually breaks up with the female lead, his friends will be tripping over themselves to get in line for her.]
[Female lead, look at the male lead’s childhood best friend-the one who supposedly hates you the most. If you so much as smile at him, he’d give you his life.]
I froze. Skeptical but curious, I deleted my draft and sent a different message instead: “Happy breakup.”
A second later, my Moments feed exploded with likes.
