Summary
I confessed to the wrong man—and somehow ended up sleeping with my crush’s twin brother.
His shirt hung slightly open, his eyes dark as he gave a lazy, low laugh. “My brother and I look exactly alike. Don’t you think you might mistake one of us for the other?”
Blushing, I shook my head. “Never.”
It wasn’t until the next morning, when I glimpsed the red mole at his waist, that the truth struck me.
Oh God.
I really had confessed to the wrong man—and slept with him by mistake.
Too frightened to meet his eyes, I stammered, “Um… Wenchao, I actually confessed to the wrong person that night. I thought you were Lu Yanci.”
“You confessed to the wrong person?”
“You thought I was Lu Yanci?”
As if he’d heard a wonderful joke, the man let out a deep chuckle, his gaze slowly darkening. “It’s all right.”
Relief washed over me. “That’s great. Then let’s pretend last night never happened, okay? Please don’t tell Lu Yanci. I’ll be going now.”
I cried out as his arm swept around my waist.
He threaded his fingers tightly through mine and bit down on my earlobe. “Good girl. Then you’ll just have to learn the difference again.”
“We’ll keep going until you can tell my brother and me apart.”
