In the evening, I lay down early, feeling the mattress sink behind me.

A man’s cold hand wrapped around my waist.

Suppressing the urge to retch, I grabbed Fu Shen’s hand as it attempted to slip under my clothes.

I spoke coldly, “I’m not feeling well.”

Fu Shen paused.

I could sense his interest; it would be uncomfortable for him to hold back.

But he didn’t force me in the end. Considerately, he tucked the blanket around me and went to the bathroom to take care of himself.

He took his phone with him as well.

Shen Xinyue sent Fu Shen a hotel name and room number.

She told him: [I don’t ask you to divorce, I just hope to give my first time to the man I love most.]

Just as I finished reading, Fu Shen came out of the bathroom.

“Wife, something came up at the company that I need to handle.”
