After I Was Gone, Mr. Song Said He Loved Me - Chapter 6 - I Became Mr. Song's...
After Song Yu closed the door, his movements were swift and decisive, without a hint of hesitation. The room was dark, only faintly illuminated by the neon lights seeping through the curtains, outlining his tall figure. His hand suddenly reached out, pressing me against the door with an irresistible force.
“President Song?” I gritted my teeth and called out softly, my voice trembling with nervousness.
He didn’t respond, just stared at me with those deep eyes, his gaze like flames burning every inch of my skin. His hand pressed firmly on my shoulder, immobilizing me, while the other hand slowly slid down, stopping at my waist, as if testing or deliberately provoking.
My breathing became erratic, and I tried to break free, but he gave me no chance. His body pressed closer, and through the fabric, I could feel the heat of his chest, scorching and inescapable.
His voice was low and hoarse, with a hint of seduction, “Isn’t this the midnight snack you agreed to?” He leaned in slightly, a mocking smile on his lips, “What, regretting it now?”
“I agreed to a meal, not-” Before I could finish, his sudden proximity cut me off. His breath brushed against my ear as he laughed softly, “Stop pretending. You know exactly what I want.”
His hand moved from my waist to my back, slow but invasive, making sure I felt every touch. My body stiffened, and I tried to push him away, but my strength was nothing compared to his.
“Song Yu, what exactly do you want?” I asked through gritted teeth, my voice shaking with shame.
He didn’t answer, just lowered his head, his lips brushing my ear, his voice barely audible, “I want you.”
Those three words thundered in my mind, my heart clenched tightly, and my fingers gripped the door, my breathing growing more rapid. His hand tightened, his fingers sliding down my back, stopping just below my waist, his movements blatantly heated.
I tried to struggle, but he easily held me down.
“Don’t move.” His voice was low and slow, but carried an undeniable command, “Or I’ll lose control even more.”
His words sent a shiver through me, a mix of anger, shame, and an inexplicable thrill. I bit my lip, refusing to make a sound, but couldn’t ignore the heat of his hand and his close breath.
Song Yu, this bastard, looked so refined, but once those glasses came off, he was a completely different person. His gaze was like an abyss, dangerous and alluring, making it hard to approach yet impossible to fully escape.
Later, I woke up in bed, adjusting my breathing as I slowly moved to the edge to grab my phone from the bedside table. I found a note under the phone.
-I applied some medicine for you. Don’t move around too much when you wake up. Press F3 on the landline for the restaurant on the third floor. Order whatever you want.
I scoffed. Don’t move around? I’d love to leave, but my body felt like it had run a marathon all night. How could I move?
I lay back down and the first thing I did was check the 100,000 yuan in my WeChat account. To my surprise, there was an additional 500,000 yuan.
I rubbed my eyes and looked again. Sure enough, there was an extra 500,000 yuan.
One zero, two zeros, three zeros…
I couldn’t believe my eyes as I counted my balance: 601,400 yuan.
Holy crap, 600,000 yuan?
In one night, I earned 600,000 yuan!?
Suddenly, the pain in my body didn’t seem so bad.
Just then, my phone rang. It was my best buddy, Fan Lu.
I leaned against the headboard, forcing myself to sit up, cleared my throat, and answered the call. Fan Lu’s anxious voice immediately came through.
“Mr. Bai, where did you go last night? I waited for you after closing, but I couldn’t reach you. I thought something happened to you.”
“Last night… um…”
“What’s wrong?” Hearing my hesitant tone, Fan Lu became more worried.
“Lu, I might not be working at Royal Dynasty anymore.” I finally said after some hesitation.
Fan Lu had helped me get the job at Royal Dynasty, speaking highly of me to the hiring manager. We both came from small towns and understood each other’s struggles. We’ve been supporting each other in this unfamiliar city, encouraging each other to make money and carve out a place for ourselves in Hai City. Now, I was quitting, and I felt guilty.
I expected Fan Lu to scold me, but instead, he seemed relieved, “I thought it was something serious. If you don’t want to work there, then don’t. Who wants to do this crappy job if not for the money?”
I was surprised, “You’re not mad?”
“Why would I be mad?” Fan Lu laughed, “So, what are you going to do now that you’re not working at Royal Dynasty?”
“…I’m going to be a personal assistant to a boss.” I chose my words carefully, trying to make it sound less cheap so Fan Lu wouldn’t overreact.
“Oh, really? Did you meet this boss at Royal Dynasty? Is it reliable? Don’t get scammed again.”
“Um… have you heard of HuanYa Group?” I recalled the name of Song Yu’s company.
“Holy crap, HuanYa is an international company. I heard from a customer that HuanYa’s headquarters recently brought back an executive president from the US, and the business scene in Hai City is going to change dramatically.”
“Wait, are you going to be an assistant to a HuanYa boss!?”
“Uh… no, just a regular department manager.” I laughed nervously.
It wasn’t that I wanted to hide anything from Fan Lu, but I didn’t know how to explain what happened last night.
“Oh.” He drew out the word, thinking for a moment before saying, “No matter where you work, we’re still friends. If you ever feel uncomfortable there, come back to me.”
I was touched by Fan Lu’s words, my nose tingling with emotion.
“I know, thank you, Lu.”
“What’s there to thank for? Alright, I’m going to catch up on some sleep. I have to work tonight.” With that, Fan Lu hung up.
I stared at the phone, lost in thought, determined to work hard and earn more money, so I could at least get Fan Lu out of that place.
For the next three days, Song Yu didn’t come to the hotel or call me. It wasn’t until noon on the fourth day, when I had just recovered enough to walk, that I received a call from Song Yu…
