Summary
Jiang Wanxu shelters Yan Qi, her distant fiancé Xie Xuansheng’s gravely wounded sworn brother, and spends three infuriating months nursing him back to health. Yan Qi repays her by teaching her how to win Xie Xuansheng—mostly through outrageous lies—only to fall for her himself. In the capital, clan politics, assassination plots, war, plague, and lost memories entangle the healer with two brilliant, possessive men. Yet Jiang Wanxu’s deepest devotion is neither romance nor rank: it is reviving medicine for ordinary people. When both men try to claim her, she must recover her past and choose her own future.
