Summary
Su Su is a fox spirit who survives on yang energy, and the richest supply on campus belongs to her aloof, germaphobic roommate, Jiang Lian.
She clings to him every day without a shred of shame—until the floating comments only she can see start calling her a doomed side character.
According to them, the real heroine is about to arrive, and her family of demon hunters will see straight through Su Su’s disguise and turn her pelt into a coat.
Panicking, Su Su moves out, dodges Jiang Lian, and goes looking for yang energy anywhere else she can find it.
But the boy who is supposedly disgusted by being touched keeps chasing her down—and he turns out to know exactly what she is.
