Summary
Three years into my life as Huo Ran’s kept woman, he decided he wanted to marry me.
But just then, his stubborn-as-iron ex-girlfriend finally bowed her head.
“Huo Ran, I’m back. Do you still want me?”
Huo Ran gave a cold laugh, idly playing with my hair.
“Who do you think you are? Get lost. Don’t go upsetting my wife!”
Yet that very night, he went into a private club and didn’t come out until morning.
The next day, we had an amicable breakup.
The separation nearly tore the skin off my back; it took me a whole month just to feel human again.
Later, when I had finally started over, Huo Ran tracked me down. He looked thin and depressed. With a pained expression, he said to me, “I miss you so much!”
