Summary
I was caught red-handed by my brother when I snuck home from clubbing in the middle of the night. To make matters worse, a small box accidentally tumbled out of my pocket.
In a panic, I scrambled for an excuse. “It’s… it’s just gum.”
His expression was dark enough to kill. “What kind of gum comes in size XL?”
He let out a cold, mocking huff. “Quite the appetite you have, don’t you?”
Despite my guilt, I snapped back at him, “It’s none of your business! I’m an adult now!”
Later, he pinned me beneath him, his face grim and his gaze dangerously predatory.
“An adult, are you?”
He leaned in, his voice low. “From now on, for every word you talk back during the day, your brother will make you pay it back double at night.”
