Chapter 4
Over the years, I’ve been like a mad dog guarding its food.
Standing in front of Yan Chen.
Blocking both good and bad romances for him.
Thus, I’ve made countless enemies.
Upon learning that I’m with Yan Chen.
A parade of beautiful women.
Gathered to mock me.
“Do you really think he likes you?”
“Don’t you have a mirror or a puddle to look into?”
I nodded, “My urine is yellow, can’t see clearly.”
Yan Chen was behind me, slightly to the side.
On the sofa, like a giant doll, he chuckled.
“Xiao Hua, come here.”
If I were truly a little dog.
In others’ eyes, this would be the scene.
Yan Chen beckons, the little dog leaps over, tail wagging like a propeller.
Sitting on his lap, I grew bolder.
Perhaps this is what it means to be emboldened by one’s master.
I clung tightly to Yan Chen’s waist, showing a fierce expression of guarding my food.
“He’s mine!”
Laughter surged through the crowd like waves.
Each wave higher than the last.
The beauties didn’t take me seriously, coming over to flirt.
Yan Chen let me sit on his lap and nuzzle.
Spreading his hands, he raised an eyebrow with a faint smile, “If you’re not afraid of being bitten, then stay away.”
He wasn’t lacking in company, but in peace.
Those who sharpened their minds and boasted about winning him over.
Retreated three thousand miles.
Pairs of eyes stared at me, releasing their utmost malice.
I suddenly thought of “Harry Potter”-
All the wizards wanted the Philosopher’s Stone,
The powerful, the gifted, the unscrupulous…
In the end,
Neville Longbottom got it.
Too funny.
As the crowd dispersed, Yan Chen’s large hand fell, “Such a good dog.”
I pushed my luck, “Is there a reward?”
He showed that half-dead expression again.
A face like a painting leaned closer, and closer.
Ultimately, the kiss didn’t happen.
“Next time.”
He pushed me aside.
Went out to race cars with everyone.
