Snapping back to my senses, I let go.

I watched as Lin Jiu, barely breathing, collapsed to the ground.

That once innocent and pure little face was now covered in filth.

I couldn’t help but let out a laugh.

“Cry, make a scene, just go with that face and tell the whole world I bullied you-go on!”

My voice suddenly lifted at the end.

I thought of the pain in my past life, when acid dissolved my features, and I stomped on her face twice more.

Only then did I turn and leave.

Under the teaching building, my deskmate Su Lan was waiting for me:

“P.E. class started ages ago, what were you doing upstairs?”

I answered lightly, “Oh, just bullied the new student a bit.”

She turned her head in shock, “What?!”

I said, “Lu Xun once said, when the whole world thinks you’re a bullying girl, you’d better really be one.”

“Did… Lu Xun really say that…”

“That’s not important.”

I walked with her to the edge of the sports field, and bumped right into Jiang Tian.

He wasn’t in my class.

But everyone in school knew he was my-Lu Xinxi’s-childhood sweetheart boyfriend.

Jiang Tian’s gaze slid past my face, landing somewhere behind me as if unintentionally:

“Xinxin, why are you so late? By the way, I heard you have a new transfer student in your class?”

In my past life, every time Lin Jiu tried to smear me.

He would always make me apologize to Lin Jiu, smoothing things over.

He seemed to be on my side.

But in just a few words, he’d confirm my guilt of bullying.

Thinking of this, I suddenly raised my hand without warning and slapped him.

Su Lan, beside me, was once again stunned.

He leaned in affectionately, rubbing his cheek against mine:
