Chapter 5

I practically sprang off the bed. I hadn’t even had time to wonder how Jiang Yi knew my name. No wonder it felt hard earlier; I thought it was Jiang Yi’s eight-pack abs.

The bullet comments went wild.

[Ahhh, ahhh, ahhh, school medic, take your time, I want to see them doing it!]

[Jiang Yi, if you weren’t holding back, you’d wish your wife would sleep on top of you, even ride you, and you’d just grin with your big teeth.]

[I can’t imagine what they’d do in this small room if the power didn’t come back on.]

[Jiang Yi probably wants to kiss his wife’s lips raw.]

I looked at the bullet comments, then at Jiang Yi, who had just sat up. He gave me a helpless look. “I didn’t mean I didn’t want you to touch it.”

I coughed heavily. Seeing my reaction, Jiang Yi anxiously pulled my hand to his body. “Don’t be unhappy.”

“Touch here.”

Jiang Yi guided my hand under his shirt. That’s what abs feel like. He looked away, a little embarrassed. “If you touch there, I won’t be able to control myself.”

My face instantly turned beet red. “I didn’t mean to.”

Jiang Yi held my hand. “I don’t care if it was on purpose or not.”

“Shen Zhaoyue.”

“You have to take responsibility for me.”

The moment Jiang Yi finished speaking, the infirmary lights came on. The school medic stood at the doorway, looking at Jiang Yi and me. “Students, this is the infirmary.”

I whipped my head around. The school medic’s stern gaze looked through his metal-framed glasses. “Can you little couples find somewhere else to flirt, please?”

Behind the school medic, several students were looking over, full of curiosity. Then I heard their gasps.

“Isn’t that Jiang Yi?”

Another said, “Who’s that sitting on Jiang Yi?”

Oh, my god. I just wanted to dig a hole and disappear into the ground. I urgently wanted to explain to them that Jiang Yi and I weren’t what they thought. Just as I was about to speak, Jiang Yi pulled me into a hug. The next second, Jiang Yi pointed to me and said to the people at the door, “Her?”

“She’s my girlfriend.”
