Chapter 4

Walking with Jiang Yi, people on the secluded path kept looking our way. I sped up, pulling out my phone to ask for help in my dorm group chat. “What do I do, ahhh! @everyone”

Before I could type more, my roommate interrupted me. “You actually kissed Jiang Yi? You’re amazing, sis.”

“?”

Soon after, my roommate dropped a post in the group. The title was: [School Bully’s Sweetheart – Who is the girl who kissed the school bully?]

I clicked it open. Someone had apparently taken a picture of me falling into Jiang Yi’s arms on the court and uploaded it to the forum. I looked small in Jiang Yi’s embrace. My relatively revealing outfit, combined with Jiang Yi’s basketball jersey and exposed muscle lines, created a very intense and atmospheric scene on the court. The comment section was unanimously trying to find out who the girl was.

In the darkness, my rapid breathing echoed in the quiet infirmary. Jiang Yi’s breathing also grew heavier.

I was about to apologize when I heard Jiang Yi’s voice, hoarse and unlike his own. “You touched my ‘thing’.”
