Chapter 13
In the living room, Su Yuluo was wearing my dress.
They were disheveled, their faces flushed, and they were about to…
Perhaps hearing the sound, they both turned their heads.
And then, our eight eyes met.
I already knew about Li Kai’s affair and had mentally prepared myself on the way over.
I had even advised Qin Hao to just take his girlfriend home and be done with it.
But seeing the two of them shamelessly and brazenly curled up on my sofa was still hard to accept.
Life is too messy, too cruel.
Li Kai hastily pulled up his shorts, while Su Yuluo seemed frozen in shock, completely still.
Before I could react, a figure darted past me, followed by a sharp “smack.”
Qin Hao had slapped Su Yuluo hard across the face, his roar following immediately after. “Didn’t you say you had a cold? Didn’t you say you went back to your hometown?”
“Listen to me, there’s a misunderstanding…” Su Yuluo, not even bothering to cover her face, fumbled to adjust her dress, her words stumbling out. But halfway through, even she couldn’t come up with a convincing lie and changed the subject. “This is the first time…”
“I was forced…”
That one sentence was like throwing a stone into a calm lake, causing ripples of chaos.
Qin Hao immediately turned his fury on Li Kai, unleashing a torrent of fists and slaps.
In the first moment of being discovered, Li Kai was dazed and ashamed, but he quickly snapped out of it and fought back. The two men were now wrestling on the floor.
A punch for a punch, a kick for a kick.
The fight grew more intense, and they even started grabbing whatever objects were within reach in the living room.
The scene was chaotic. The glass coffee table shattered on the floor with a loud crash.
I took out my phone and started recording.
It was a bit of a shame. Although I had prepared and charged a recording pen yesterday and had secretly turned it on downstairs, it was useless for capturing the scene when we first walked in.
Everything happened so fast that I forgot to start recording on my phone right away.
At this moment, Qin Hao was like an enraged beast, his eyes bloodshot. Even with Su Yuluo desperately holding him back, Li Kai was clearly at a disadvantage.
After all, Qin Hao was younger and stronger.
And his anger was the best stimulant.
Caught in the middle, Su Yuluo tried to intervene, sometimes shielding one, sometimes blocking the other. Not only was she ineffective at stopping the fight, but she also ended up with several bruises herself.
When two men are fighting with such fury, the source of their conflict becomes the ultimate target.
No matter who she sided with, it was a mistake.
In just a few moments, the living room was a complete wreck.
The door was open, and the commotion had attracted a crowd of neighbors, who now blocked the doorway, whispering and gossiping among themselves.
Some neighbors were recording videos, and one particularly nosy person even called the police.
