Summary
After a night of passion, Li Jiyun stood by the bed, his back to me, threading his belt.
“We shouldn’t see each other again.”
“Why?”
“She’s back in the country.”
He was the type to pull up his pants and pretend he didn’t know you. That was Li Jiyun for you.
“You’re such a scumbag.”
I cried, my heart breaking.
He glanced at me, the buckle of his belt clicking shut.
“He’s your husband. He’s back, so where am I supposed to sleep? In between you two?”
“I won’t be the other man.”
Oh, right. I almost forgot I have a husband.
After some painful reflection, I made up my mind to break things off with Li Jiyun.
A month later, he sent me a message.
“Is your husband dead yet?”
“Can you ask him for me if he could die a little sooner?”
