Chapter 3
I was almost hauled away by Xu Qingye, slung over his shoulder.
The disparity in strength between men and women made my resistance insignificant.
Once inside the hotel, he pinned me down in the bathtub.
He twisted the showerhead, and hot water cascaded down.
The temperature rose, and steam quickly filled the air.
“Xu Qingye, what the hell are you doing!”
I struggled to push him away, water splashing everywhere.
His face was set, silent; then, with a swift movement, he squeezed himself into the bathtub with me.
Trapped by him, I couldn’t move at all.
Two people crowded into this not-so-big, not-so-small space, both of us soaked through.
The taut lines of muscle under Xu Qingye’s shirt were faintly visible through the wet fabric.
He gripped my ankle, bent my right leg, and the showerhead kept rinsing the same spot.
It took me a long moment to realize.
That was the place Manager Li had touched.
Xu Qingye had always had a fierce possessiveness over what he considered his own.
But from start to finish, I was never his, and he didn’t seem to care for me much either.
If force didn’t work, I tried softness.
I dropped my stubborn attitude, softened my voice, and tugged at his collar.
“Brother Qingye, are you jealous?”
I’d never been the gentle type in front of him.
Naturally, I didn’t expect any sweet answer from him.
But as it turned out, years apart do change people.
Besides, when men have money, most of them turn bad.
The man who used to purse his lips and keep silent now, soaked and tempting, shot the question back at me:
“Why call me Brother Qingye? Didn’t you love role-playing before?”
He pulled me up and wrapped a bath towel around me.
Xu Qingye leaned close to my ear: “Didn’t you like calling me Good Little Brother?”
“Didn’t you like calling me Brother-in-law?”
“Or… didn’t you like calling me Good boy?”
His words dragged me back into memories.
Back when I used to tease him, every syrupy nickname was more provocative than ‘Brother Qingye’.
Xu Qingye wasn’t someone who went along with everything.
Most nicknames, he’d only respond to after I pestered him for ages.
But when I called him ‘Good boy’, he’d just raise an eyebrow and look at me deeply.
He never indulged me in that little-mommy fantasy.
Now, in his arms, I trembled, my gaze growing hazy.
After two years together, Xu Qingye understood me better than most.
He let out a low, amused chuckle.
His voice dropped, seductive as he called me:
“Mommy…”
Then, in a flash, his tone turned dangerous and unpredictable.
“Try letting someone else touch you again.”
No matter how much time had passed, no matter how my feelings had changed, I still couldn’t resist him.
