Seven Years of Lies, I Ruined His Life - Chapter 15
Yu Qing’s shop opened at the entrance of a bustling street.
I had gone to great lengths, outbidding several others, to secure this storefront for her.
Yu Qing was very grateful.
She planned to open a Korean restaurant; she had designed the decor and style herself.
When she talked to me about her future plans, her eyes sparkled with light.
Under the blazing sun, she was as excited as a child.
After signing the contract.
She sat in the shop and suddenly asked me, “If I go back and get a divorce, would you marry me?”
She asked with such seriousness.
But her question sent a jolt through me.
Through the glass window, I thought I saw Guan Qin.
As if possessed, my mind flashed with countless images of Guan Qin having hysterical fits.
My first thought was that Guan Qin was following me.
But I quickly dismissed the idea.
Over the years, the most Guan Qin ever did was call or video call to check up on me.
The only time she made a big scene was when our son, just a newborn, suddenly had a high fever.
She couldn’t reach me and had to call an ambulance herself to get to the hospital.
After my parents arrived, she stormed into the dinner party I was at and caused a huge commotion.
To be honest, that was a huge loss of face for me.
But it was indeed my fault.
While I was lost in thought, Guan Qin’s figure disappeared.
As if she had never been there.
Yu Qing looked disappointed and dejected. “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to pressure you.”
