Chapter 20
“But you still cheated, didn’t you?” Tears as big as beans fell one by one.
“Lin Zi, listen to me, it was an accident.” He cupped my face, his tone as gentle as ever.
“I have cherished you, from school to supporting you in starting a business, to marriage and having children. I have cared for Zhaodi for ten years, helping her solve problems day in and day out, yet you two conspired to deceive me.”
“I truly, truly cannot forgive you.”

He kept pleading for my forgiveness.

Seeing the name on the screen, he seemed a bit flustered.
I wiped the tears from my face, turned away, my voice cold:
“I’ll have the divorce papers ready for you when I return tomorrow. If you have any objections, we can discuss them then.”
