Chapter 167: Zhou Xinyue, You Deserve to Die

Shen Subai’s plane landed at seven-thirty. By the time he arrived at the Project Department, it was only a little after eight. Tian Hao followed behind him, looking like life had lost all meaning.

“Brother Shen, did we have to be in such a hurry? We could’ve at least had breakfast!” At this hour, even the Project Department canteen was out of food. If he’d known, he would have called the office ahead of time and had them save a couple of meat buns.

If you want to blame someone, blame that man of yours for being too kind. He just had to play savior, but he refused to divorce you and take care of me. So I had no choice but to use you as my knife first!”

Xie Yunshu’s leg was injured. Enduring the pain, she pulled Xiaowei behind her. “What exactly are you trying to do? Xiaowei is only a child. How did he ever get in your way?”

Zhou Xinyue gave a cold snort. “Without me, he would’ve starved to death ages ago. Since he acknowledged me as his mother, I have every right to treat him however I want!”

Xie Yunshu knew Zhou Xinyue was no good, but she had never imagined this woman could be so vicious. She was worse than a beast!

And the moment Xiaowei saw Zhou Xinyue, his little face went deathly pale. Last night had been the first time he hadn’t had nightmares in his sleep, the first time he hadn’t slept fitfully out of fear of being beaten, all because Xie Yunshu had said there was no need to be afraid of Zhou Xinyue.

Xie Yunshu observed their surroundings. This place was remote, with almost no one passing by. Fatty and Skinny had probably only been thinking about snatching the child at first, and they didn’t have any weapons in hand.
