Chapter 8
Inside the car, I clung to Jin Beiyan’s shoulders, gasping for breath as his rough advances overwhelmed me.
Another deep thrust.
Tears welled up at the corners of my eyes from sheer physical sensation.
My voice unconsciously took on a sobbing tone as I pleaded pitifully.
“Wu wu wu, Jin Beiyan, it hurts. My legs are really going to break.”
“I won’t be stubborn anymore. I provoked you on purpose just now. I know it was my fault.”
“You bastard!”
“You rejected me, and now you’re doing this!”
With his forehead pressed against my neck, Jin Beiyan’s voice was especially sexy, thickened by desire.
“Be good, I was wrong.”
“I’m a bastard, you can call me whatever you want.”
“But you’re the only one in my heart. There’s only ever been you.”
Staring blankly at the car roof, my muddled mind finally cleared a little.
My heart was pounding wildly, as if it might leap out of my chest.
“Really?”
“Really.”
“Then why were you so cold that day… Weren’t you afraid I’d never talk to you again?”
Jin Beiyan laughed openly, his tone softening further.
“Then I would have deserved it.”
“I rejected you because I didn’t want you to regret it in the future. You’re still young, your judgment isn’t mature yet.”
“Let me make it clear again: I’m already an adult! Don’t always think I’m just fooling around.”
“But, just last week, you lost an argument and cried all night at home. The week before that, you clung to the column by the door for two hours and six minutes because you didn’t want the semester to start. The week before that, you dreamed I took your milk tea and wouldn’t speak to me for three days.”
“Stop! Don’t say any more.”
Blushing furiously, I slapped a hand over his mouth.
“Those things only prove my mental state is very beautiful. They don’t mean I’m immature about love.”
Jin Beiyan grabbed my wrist and pulled my hand away, kissing my palm with a smile.
“But darling, I get scared too.”
“If you were the first to start, then pulled away, I’d go crazy. I’m afraid I’d lose control and hurt you. That’s why I kept holding myself back-I didn’t even dare respond.”
“Honestly, the moment you brought Pei Chenghuan back, I regretted it. Seeing you close to someone else, I suddenly thought, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad to keep you by my side for a lifetime. I overestimated myself.”
“Afterwards, I wanted to explain many times, but you kept avoiding me.”
Jin Beiyan cupped my face, his eyes filled with possessiveness.
I let out a haughty little snort, trying to hide the smile at the corners of my mouth.
“That reason is just barely acceptable, but you just kissed me by force!”
“I’m still going to tell Grandpa!”
His rough fingertips brushed my lips as Jin Beiyan smiled languidly.
“We really should call Grandpa.”
“See when he’s free, so we can hold the wedding.”
“Who said I’m marrying you.”
I covered my flushed cheeks, pretending to be angry.
“Not marrying isn’t an option.”
“You know how hard it was waiting for you to grow up.”
As soon as the words fell, Jin Beiyan pulled me into his arms.
His deep voice, laced with desire, coaxed gently.
“How about… we continue the bridal chamber first?”
