Summary
Cui Pan’er agrees to marry her famously cold, impossibly handsome cousin for one simple reason: she never wants to leave the aunt who raised and adored her. Since Xie Jin supposedly has a mistress, Pan’er proposes that they remain husband and wife in name only while she raises the children of his other women. Xie Jin has very different ideas. Their wedding-night negotiation turns into a battle of seduction, misunderstandings, unconventional family planning, and one humiliating diagnosis of kidney deficiency. In a household where every solution is more outrageous than the last, Pan’er must discover what marriage—and choosing a family—actually means.
