chapter 26
We got married.
On the eve of our wedding, Song Yan brought several documents for me to sign.
There were quite a few documents, and the first one was about property transfer.
Song Yan hooked up the corners of his mouth.
“Sisi, my net worth has doubled now.”
“How many times?”
“Several times.”
……
I flipped through the documents, “…All in my name?”
“In your name, voluntarily gifted, prenuptial property notarization. As long as you leave me, I’ll be bankrupt.”
“Aren’t you afraid I’ll run off with the money? You should know, when it comes to money, I have no bottom line.”
Song Yan shrugged, “Not afraid.”
I gave an honest evaluation, “Late-stage love brain.”
I like it.
[Extra – Song Yan]
The first time I met Yu Sisi was at the freshman registration in our first year.
Almost everyone else was accompanied by parents or relatives, but she was the only one dragging a large suitcase through the crowd, stopping in front of the dormitory building, panting heavily and taking a short break.
Her lonely figure seemed to overlap with my past self.
I couldn’t help myself and walked over, silently picking up her suitcase, ready to help her carry it to the dorm.
Unexpectedly, Yu Sisi hugged her suitcase tightly and warily said, “Bro, what are you doing? There’s no money inside.”
I replied, annoyed, “I’m just doing a good deed, helping you with your luggage.”
“Oh.” Yu Sisi blushed, “Sorry, I was too cautious. No need to help, I’m fine.”
After saying that, she somehow found the strength to lift the suitcase and strode into the dormitory building.
Watching her back, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes.
I secretly swore I’d never meddle in this country girl’s business again.
But I always noticed her, intentionally or not.
A pretty and unique girl always draws attention.
From my classmates, I roughly learned about her background.
But even though I was curious about her, I wouldn’t take the initiative to approach.
After all, I had already been rejected once.
And every time I passed by her, she always had a cold face, hurrying along.
I would never do anything that would embarrass myself.
A year later, I started dating.
With a try-it-and-see attitude.
I knew that girl only chased after me for over a year because I drove a luxury car and wore a designer watch.
As a rich guy, I don’t mind someone being Materialistic.
But I can’t tolerate being cheated on.
In a fit of anger, I caught sight of Yu Sisi’s back.
I knew she needed money, and I was sure she wouldn’t refuse me.
So I called out to her.
I thought she’d hesitate for at least a moment, but she snatched the bank card from my hand so decisively, as if afraid I’d regret it if she was a second slower.
Even if I really wanted to regret it, after she called me “husband,” it seemed I had no room left for regret.
On the first day of our relationship, Yu Sisi mistook someone else for me.
I rushed back to school early in the morning, waiting for her at the entrance of the boys’ dormitory.
She walked past me with breakfast in her arms, not even glancing at me, then stared seriously at the boys’ dormitory building.
I deliberately didn’t greet her, wanting to see when she’d notice me.
Half an hour later, her gaze paused, and she finally moved.
I thought she finally recognized me and took a few steps forward, keeping up my cool demeanor.
Unexpectedly, she walked past again without looking at me.
Leaving me awkwardly standing there.
I watched her carrying breakfast, sweetly calling Jiang Yifan “husband.”
I was so angry I laughed.
Well, yesterday her eyes were only on the bank card in my hand.
Maybe it was because I’d just been cheated on.
Seeing Yu Sisi with Jiang Yifan again made me jealous.
I didn’t plan to hide my feelings.
After all, I spent money, so what’s wrong with her coaxing me?
But Yu Sisi probably didn’t have any dating experience either.
I forced her so much she had to Google how to comfort her boyfriend.
