Summary
My brother has hated me for seven years.
The last time we fought, I stormed out on a stormy night and left in a huff. I accidentally fell into the river, and when I woke up, my memories were a mess.
In the hospital, he looked as if a weight had finally been lifted off his shoulders. He casually pointed at a terminally ill patient and said:
“He’s your brother.
“Get it straight, and stop bothering me.”
The pale-faced man walked over, gently ruffled my hair, and said softly:
“Come on, I’ll take you home.”
After that, in order to save this terminally ill “brother,” I ignored the fact that the heavy snow had blocked the roads and fought my way through to find a famous doctor for him. I stayed up countless nights by his side.
I even went so far as to gamble away half my life.
My real brother stopped me in the freezing wind and snow, his voice shaking, flustered and afraid:
“Did you really… forget me?”
