Chapter 54 - The Hundred Thousand Great Mountains
“What is it?” Hong Niang didn’t step back; instead, she moved a step forward, her ample chest pressing against Leng Yan’s, spreading a soft sensation throughout her body, igniting a burning desire.
Leng Yan quickly took a step back, using the seven emotions and six desires technique to suppress the desire, and said, “Since I’ve become an Honorary Elder, shouldn’t I receive this month’s ten thousand primordial spirit elixir?”
“Is that all you want?” Hong Niang stepped forward again, her breath fragrant as she asked.
“That’s it, why?”
“Aren’t you still the blood blade? Why do you act like a miser now!” Hong Niang handed Leng Yan a storage bag, questioning him lightly.
“I have no choice. To strengthen my power, the primordial spirit elixir is essential, and I am short of it now.” Leng Yan took the elixir and tucked it into his sleeve.
“Do you want some missions then? The rewards are quite generous!” Hong Niang gently placed her hand on Leng Yan’s shoulder, speaking softly.
“Hong Niang, you’re still like this after all this time. I told you, don’t treat me this way, I’m not falling for it,” Leng Yan replied with a smile.
“So many men lose sleep thinking of me every night, and yet you? You make me think of you every night,” Hong Niang said, reverting to her usual demeanor after talking business, like a thirsty seductress.
However, Leng Yan wouldn’t be fooled by Hong Niang’s appearance; anyone truly wanting to sleep with her would surely meet their demise by her hand.
“Hong Niang, spare me! Here’s a jar of wine for you to drink when you’re lonely!” Leng Yan joked.
“Oh, right, I almost forgot if you hadn’t mentioned it!” Hong Niang slapped her forehead, hurriedly retrieving a piece of Red Leaf from her bosom, saying, “My master mentioned that on your trip to Yin Mountain, you might encounter the old man of Yin Mountain. This person is sealed within the mountain, with profound cultivation and a quirky personality; he might decide to kill on a whim. If you do encounter him, crush this Red Leaf, and my master will come to your aid.”
Unexpectedly, there’s such a monster in Yin Mountain. It’s no wonder that few people return unscathed. Knowing that the master of the Red Leaf could help gave Leng Yan a bit of reassurance.
“Thank you for your master’s help,” Leng Yan said with a smile.
“Wait until you meet him, and you can thank him in person!” Hong Niang replied, then turned around and walked over to Chu Jianfeng. She bent over slightly, her bosom hanging down, sparking the imagination, and then with a flirtatious look in her eyes, she said softly, “Since Blood Blade won’t be keeping me company, I will be lonely and empty again tonight. Could you keep me company?”
Chu Jianfeng primarily indulged in wine and women, and had initially restrained himself upon seeing Hong Niang’s serious demeanor. However, when he saw her teasing Leng Yan, it had already set his blood on fire.
Now, with Hong Niang sending him such inviting glances, and her chest gently swaying within her red dress, Chu Jianfeng swallowed hard and replied with a lecherous smile, “I feel as though we’ve known each other forever. There’s so much I’d like to say to you. Why don’t we go somewhere more private and talk?”
“Yes, let’s go!” Hong Niang whispered into his ear from behind, her breath sending shivers down his spine, causing his face to flush. If this were a guest room, they probably would have already begun a primal battle.
“Leng Yan, take your time drinking. Hong Niang and I are going to step out for some fresh air.” Chu Jianfeng said, then took Hong Niang’s hand and walked out of the tavern.
“I thought you were a gentleman, but it turns out you’re also a man driven by lust. However, your target tonight won’t be easy,” Leng Yan thought to himself, chuckling as he sipped his drink alone.
In the evening, Leng Yan returned to the inn and spent the night in meditation and cultivation. It wasn’t until the next afternoon that Chu Jianfeng returned, bending over, with dark circles under his eyes, purple lips, and a hunched back. Leng Yan laughed and said, “How did it go? Couldn’t touch a woman, but ended up being played with all night?”
“Nonsense! What do you mean ‘didn’t touch’? Can’t you see what’s happened to me? I’m just worn out. Damn, she was still a virgin, but how come her demands were so high? Once every hour, thirteen times in total, with no breaks. But honestly, it felt amazing!” Chu Jianfeng lay on the bed, both exhausted and satisfied.
“What? Hong Niang really made love with you, all night long?” Leng Yan exclaimed in surprise.
Although Hong Niang was quite open in her speech, her night life was very conservative. Men who had previously sought her affections had been ruthlessly rebuffed. This time, however, it seemed Chu Jianfeng had unexpectedly benefited.
“Do I need to deceive you? No, I’m too tired. Let’s rest for a day and continue our journey tomorrow!” Chu Jianfeng, with his eyes closed, actually fell asleep. It was clear that the boy was truly exhausted.
“Hong Niang would never commit herself to Chu Jianfeng for no reason. Her master is skilled in divination. Could it be that Chu Jianfeng has some secret that prompted this action, to bind him to Hong Niang?” Leng Yan thought to himself, looking at the sleeping Chu Jianfeng, pondering the hidden purpose of this matter.
After a day of thought, Leng Yan still felt there was something amiss, but he was not one to obsess over details. Since he couldn’t figure it out, he decided to let it go.
It was not until midnight that Chu Jianfeng gradually woke up. Having exhausted himself the night before, his energy was significantly depleted. He sat cross-legged and practiced cultivation until early morning, when he finally appeared to be back to normal.
“How about it? Feeling energetic again? Want to sleep another night?” Leng Yan joked.
“To tell the truth, I really would. You have no idea, Hong Niang’s skills are so good, it’s heavenly.” Chu Jianfeng reminisced.
“Then go again!” Leng Yan said.
“No need, let’s talk about it when we get back. Let me tell you, when I came back yesterday, Hong Niang couldn’t even get out of bed, I told her to rest.” Chu Jianfeng boasted proudly.
“Alright, I know you’re formidable. Let’s go! I still have to rush back for the Five Elements Sect’s Five Veins Competition.” Leng Yan got up, opened the door, and walked out.
Chu Jianfeng followed him…
In another room within the inn, a bed was veiled with light gauze, through which the silhouette of a woman could be seen.
As the door opened, Hong Niang, still in red, walked with a bit of difficulty to the outside of the gauze and said, “I’ve seen the master!”
“Hong Niang, you did very well this time. Go back and take good care of yourself. After the child is born, come to my side with the child and cultivate together,” the woman behind the gauze said.
“Thank you, master!” Hong Niang bowed again and retreated.
Then, the woman behind the gauze stood up and vanished from the bed, her whereabouts unknown.
In the Southern Frontier, there is a region known as the Hundred Thousand Great Mountains, where mountain peaks and forests connect endlessly. Many demonic beasts inhabit these woods.
Deep within these mountains lies a pitch-black peak known as Yin Mountain. However, this Yin Mountain is not the destination of Leng Yan and his companion.
The true Yin Mountain is not within the Hundred Thousand Great Mountains. The reason they came here is because the teleportation array leading to Yin Mountain only appears in this location. However, the exact time of its appearance remains unknown.
As they approached the Hundred Thousand Great Mountains, the two descended from their flying swords and chose to proceed on foot. The area is home to many formidable demonic beasts, and flying through the sky would likely provoke an attack.
Traveling on the ground, even if they encountered demonic beasts, as long as they killed them quickly, they could avoid being surrounded and attacked by others.
“We’re approaching the miasma forest. Here are a few detoxification pills. Take one to prevent the miasma from harming you.” Chu Jianfeng, who had researched the area beforehand and prepared the necessary items, handed over an elixir.
After taking the elixir, a faint scent of medicine spread inside their bodies.
With the protection of the elixirs, they walked into the miasma forest. Indeed, the green miasma was kept at bay from their bodies.
“Roar!”
The roar of a demonic beast echoed nearby. From the strength of the aura, it was clear this beast was in the primordial qi realm.
“What should we do, kill it or go around?” Chu Jianfeng asked.
“Let’s go around. We’re not familiar with this area and don’t know if there are any stronger beings inside. So, if we can avoid trouble, we should not engage!” Leng Yan advised, carefully stepping to avoid dry twigs that might alert the beast.
“Alright, I’ll follow your lead. There are no beasts to the left; we can circumvent from there,” Chu Jianfeng whispered.
Leng Yan nodded in agreement, and the two of them slowly made their way to the left, safely bypassing the demonic beast ahead.
